We had a wonderful holiday cabin of J. and M.. Even before we arrived, we felt welcome and very well informed by J. and M.. Both hosts responded to messages within a very short time and recommended, for example, dreamy hiking in the vicinity. Upon arrival at the residential area, Jonas quickly let us open the barrier. Through the key safe, we could easily and easily get into the cabin. There was everything you need for a relaxing and very comfortable holiday: the kitchen is fully equipped with high quality dishes, good wine glasses and pots. Even a food processor, a kitchen scale, a waffle iron and baking molds are available. In addition, there is a robot vacuum cleaner. A cell phone is located in the cottage, which allows you to open the barrier on your own. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are furnished to a high standard. The jacuzzi on the terrace is an absolute highlight.

This cabin is just wonderful and our 2 families had an excellent stay. You can walk/ ski to the piste easily and there’s a great space for learners just there. Everything you need including a really good drying room/ store & sauna is there & the kitchen is well equipped and there’s games etc too. There is parking for 2 cars. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms lovely- we would all like to come back one day. Gausta is a small resort good for all types of skiing but also has a lovely hotel with great floating sauna/ bar. We drove to the telemark husky company at rauland ski area and stopped at a great cafe with huge snow play area on the way- would definitely recommend as a day out! Eric’s place was great- and he was super helpful

What made our stay even more special was the exceptional attention from the host. Every detail was taken care of with such warmth and care, making us feel welcome and at home. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into ensuring guests have the best experience. If you’re looking for a peaceful and charming getaway, this is definitely the place to be. We can’t wait to return!

What an incredibly beautiful house and beautiful place this was! Especially with the beautiful weather we had, we thoroughly enjoyed it! Waking up in the morning with the view of the lake and the sun on the terrace and then the doors wide open...... That was really a gift! Karoline informed us well about what there was to do but was especially an exceptionally hospitable owner. There was everything in stock in the house we were allowed to use that I have never experienced before. Thank you for this wonderful week!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The area was peaceful and felt just like home. The owner had already warmed up the cabin before we arrived, which made it even more welcoming. They were incredibly kind, flexible, and very helpful throughout our stay. It was definitely worth the money, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.
