Family-friendly vacation rentals in Villaricos

We stayed with Angela and Valentin for half a year. Her Cortijo is located on the outskirts of Antas and is nestled in a beautiful green oasis. Everything is very well maintained and arranged with a lot of love for detail. The central point in the wonderfully blooming garden is the large swimming pool. There are sunbeds and parasols all around as well as numerous seating options. We lived in a separate part of the finca. The bright apartment consists of an air-conditioned open plan living/dining area, a bathroom with window, a bedroom, also air-conditioned, and a magnificent terrace. Everything is perfectly equipped and very tastefully decorated and typical of the country. Angela and Valentin are very pleasant and helpful hosts and always careful that guests don't miss anything. Olivier is an amazing host, very attentive and considerate. We had an amazing stay. We were looking for a peaceful family break, lots of rest and relaxing. Kitchen was well stocked and equipped for preparing big family meals. There is an impressive attention to detail throughout. We are looking to return to the villa, it was a perfect family retreat. Peaceful enough to get teenagers to interact with family!

A beautiful apartment in a beautiful urbanisation in a beautiful area. If you’re looking for a short stay with all mod cons and an lovely host, this is the perfect location. And once you there, you will want to stay longer. The apartment has everything including equipment for trips to the beach, five minutes walk away. Shops and restaurants are less than 5 minutes in the other (textile) direction. The pool area is fantastic including the indoor pool; there are plenty of sunbeds. Myriam’s fully equipped two terraces ensure that you can catch or avoid the sun at any time of day. Despite 30+ degrees the ceiling fans provided enough air to maintain comfort. Aircon is also available in all rooms. The kitchen has everything you’ll need on your stay here. All in all a perfect holiday apartment. Bravo Myriam.

Paul was the perfect host helping us to have a wonderful week in his beautiful villa. We arrived very late at night and the tea, coffee and milk were very welcomed. The villa is amazing and the photos, even though they are beautiful, do not do the villa justice. We appreciated the new hot tub and it was perfect to sit in it late at night star gazing. Thank you Paul for a truly perfect, peaceful holiday.

From the description it sounded like the apartment would be ideal and we weren't disappointed. The apartment was a great base and, terrific for sunbathing, so we're looking forward to our next visit later in the year!

What a fantastic place in front of the beach! The house had everything we needed for our stay, including coffee, olive oil, and matches and candles for the big national blackout!! Lovely walks west and east of the property along the beach front. An excellent location to explore Murcia and Almería. Will recommend to anyone and I will repeat! Muchas Gracias Ramona!!!

I recommend Maria Victoria's house 100%. It is very well located and in a quiet environment that invites you to rest. The house has been recently renovated (this is already personal but we loved the "style" and decoration of the apartment and certain elements such as the beamed ceilings) and is fully equipped, which also makes it ideal for long stays. Communication with María Victoria both before and during the stay was very good, and we found her to be a very thoughtful and attentive host, since on the day of arrival we found some welcome gifts that we really appreciated. A very positive experience from start to finish!

Lovely small house right in the picturesque village of Mojácar. The house is divided in two floors, with a wonderful roof terrace on top with views down to the coast. The house is built into the hill so there is exposed rock, which gives the house authentic character. This also means the stairs are uneven and awkward, so bear this is mind if you have mobility issues (this is true of the entire village). The house is decorated in a bohemian rustic style that is comfortable and charming. Kitchen well equipped for preparing your own meals. We didn’t get to meet the host in person but communication was straightforward and clear. Great place for a couple to stay to explore this part of Almería.

Quiet apartment, perfect area for relaxation and with the beach relatively close. Pilar is a sweetheart and made everything very easy for us.

We were a party of five and we all agreed that the Villa was spotless and well equipped with all the necessary cutlery and kitchen utensils.The pool was very deep at one end it was probably built before present safety regulations in force now, A key box at the property would help a lot we had no transport otherwise we had a great time Restaurant's all very good. We loved our stay in this accommodation. The host on a 10, contacted me to let me know everything I had in the apartment to avoid going very loaded knowing that I was going with children. The home has everything you need and is very quiet with a very nice terrace. We did not know the area and it surprised us, very familiar and with everything close to walk. We hope to repeat. A wonderful place not only because of the site, but because Swen and her family are really animal lovers. The pool is definitely wonderful. Huge and beautiful. We are a large family and we have two giant dogs, at all times they have been able to be with us without limiting access, the other way around. Having common sense and affection, without a doubt the best vacations of our whole family.perros and children with us, we have enjoyed very much and rested. Thank you for everything, Swen, I hope we can repeat soon!

The villa was great for a large family. Beautiful views and lots of areas to sit and relax. Check in was very easy and communication was great and very responsive.

The Villa is in a stunning setting. We stayed here for a month and found the location gave us the peace and tranquility we were looking for. The Villa is near Bedar which has great bars and restaurants. We hired a car for the month as we wanted to explore other parts of Spain. The Villa is wonderfully home from home with two fantastic terraces to make the most of those views, a lovely pool, and everything we needed.

Iciar's apartment is perfect in every way. This is impeccable and very clean, making us feel at home from the moment you arrive. The residential complex is very quiet and beautiful, with a pool. As for the location for us perfect, about 5 minutes away from the beach by car. Iciar has always been very attentive to us, and it has also been a pleasure to meet Estrella. Very good location and easy parking. Very quiet and respectful urbanization. The house is very well equipped, nothing is missing. You feel right at home. In addition, the house has mosquito nets because with so much garden there are a lot of bugs. Francisco was always available when needed. We would definitely come back again.

The house is a pass, just like the location. The village of Mojácar surprised us pleasantly, it is beautiful. We were looking for peace of mind to spend a few days with a family by the sea, and that's precisely what we got.

Very good stay, accommodation matches the photos and very clean. Private parking is a plus and the pool at the foot of the apartment is great for both children and adults. Javier was incredibly welcoming and attentive from the moment we arrived. He was always quick to respond and offered valuable advice and support whenever we needed it. His property exceeded our expectations—it’s even more stunning than the listing suggests. The cactus garden is beautiful, and the natural pool, nestled right along the coast, is the perfect spot to unwind. A short path leads to a secluded bay where you can snorkel and explore vibrant coral reefs. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, from beach towels to a Nespresso coffee machine and even a blender. I can’t recommend Javier’s place enough—it’s truly a hidden gem, and I’d love to return someday.
