Vacation rentals in Vigía Chico

La pasamos súper, fuimos una familia de 14 personas. La atención de Alexandra incomparable desde el inicio. No tuvimos ningún detalle, la casa cuenta con todos los servicios, la luz solo hay que administrarla bien, pero tienes 3 opciones, la planta de luz del pueblo, celda solar y una planta de luz de la casa. Nunca nos quedamos sin luz. En el pueblo hay de todo, solo hay que buscarlo.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful complex. It was even more beautiful than the photos. The house was very spacious, there is a large living room with plenty of seating, and a large dining table. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Also there is place to eat by the pool as well. The bathrooms are very nice and one has a very cool outdoor shower! The beds were super comfortable. The pool area was very nice as well. There was a swing and plenty of pool chairs, so it’s a very nice place to relax. The grounds are beautiful and there is inside parking. The town it’s located in does not have much to offer, but it’s a short drive to Tulum and all the tourist sites. But honestly we were so happy that we were not staying in Tulum. If you want be in the area but not in the middle of the tourist traps, then this is a great option for you. We were really happy that we stayed there. We ate at a local seafood/fish restaurant one night and it was delicious and cheap!

Not knowing exactly what to expect we were genuinely pleased to arrive at our very own tropical resort. We put the very bumpy road behind us and enjoyed excellent food prepared by Eddie and a warm and generous stay orchestrated by Fila. A delightful woman who truly enjoys her guests and wants to make their week perfect. Our 3 year old loved it. Pool time and beach time just don't forget the sun screen and bug repellent. Plus cortisone for bites. As we left there were big dump trucks arriving hopefully to improve the road. Enjoyed seeing the heron, osprey and alligators in their natural habitat on the bay side. The beach on the saltwater side was also beautiful and was kept that way by the diligent staff who raked up the cruise ship trash on a daily basis. Great air and water temperatures .

Leo and Brenda were amazing hosts! They truly went over and above to make our stay incredible. Fran’s meals were delicious and Juan and Dalia were super helpful. We pretty much agree with all the other amazing reviews. The road is difficult. We made a point to reserve and confirm an SUV through EasyWay rental car but when we arrived late at night they only had a passenger car that made our trip much more challenging. 100% not an issue with this amazing Airbnb but do yourself a favor and if you are renting a car, triple confirm that is is an SUV. I don't think you will need 4x4 or AWD but you will need the ground clearance of an SUV or similar. Thanks for an amazing stay!

Casa iguana is absolutely stunning. Everything about this place is perfect. It is super private and feels safe and secluded. The view of the brilliant blue water from the dining table is to die for. Check in with the lockbox was super easy, Maria’s instructions that she sent in advance made finding the house a breeze, everything was spotless, the kitchen has everything you could ever need, the kamado style charcoal grill worked flawlessly, the outdoor lights add the perfect ambiance, all the sun shades are perfectly positioned. We walked on the beach staring at the crystal blue water for hours and hardly saw another person. Maria is a lovely host and offered us alternative accommodation because the seaweed arrived earlier than usual this year. (Not something that bothers us at all) We had perfect weather, a lovely breeze, and never saw a mosquito the whole time (benefit of visiting in the dry season!). I cannot recommend this place enough if you want solitude in a stunning setting!
