“Thank you Fernandes for his hospitality. The apartment is more than perfect! Everything is clean and new, the bed is comfortable and the view is perfect. This apartment has the best view of Rio Caldo and you can see the view from the bedroom when you wake up. This place is very quiet, and close to nature. Fernandes is very nice, replied rapidly, when I got off the bus, he had been there waiting for me, and even brought me to supermarket and train station. I will recommend this apartment to everyone who is interested or going to Gerês.”
Quinta do Bento is a new space dedicated to tourism and is 5 km from Vieira do Minho and 9 km from Gerês.
“Lovely guesthouse with a beautiful view to the hills and river. Driving there is an adventure if you're not used to steep mountain roads. Very nice breakfast and homely dinner. The hosts helped make a really special surprise for my girlfriend's birthday while we were there. We had a wonderful time.”
The former granary located on a peaceful private property was adapted to a small and cosy studio apartment. The groundfloor is equipped with a kitchenette, dining space, washroom and an interior staircase that leads to the upper floor, furnished with a double bed and a sofa. Another bedroom with double bed and private washroom as well as a living room with TV are situated in adjacent buildings. There is a garden with splendid views on the rural area, a private swimming pool and a parking space.
“Beautiful and calm space, house decorated with great taste in which nothing is missing. Many thanks to Jorge and his mother for the friendliness with which they received us and for the total availability shown. We loved it and will be back for sure, to savor once more the freshly picked orange juice and to enjoy the magnificent pool! Thank you until one of these days!”
