Despite the weather, we had a lovely weekend. The accommodation is amazing, between the pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Gregory responds quickly to messages. We visited the surrounding area through the waterfall of the sautadet which is beautiful and the Pont du Gard which is incredibly.

Serge’s house at Chabonne was just what we hoped for! It’s comfortable with all we needed. The setting & the views are beautiful & the weather was warm enough for a swim in the pool most days. There are a number of lovely walks around & mostly clearly marked. We saw & heard many birds, butterflies & other wildlife. The Bistro at Malbosc is definitely worth visiting; it’s run by a very nice couple who do good, well sourced food for a seasonal menu. The small shop there has fresh bread & a few basics but you will need to go to Besseges, Saint Ambroix or Les Vans. Serge has a list of local markets on the door of the kitchen cupboard. They’re great. You do need to be a confident driver as the roads are on the scary side: narrow & very windy. All in all a wonderful 2 weeks, thank you.

A huge thank you to Daniel for his kindness, his flexibility, not to mention the aperitif that was waiting for us in the fridge! a book filled with useful information was available. access to the walk for animals just above and Daniel was very comfortable with my animals, very attentive and listened to all of us. This is the address I'll remember to come back to Nîmes!! We enjoyed ourselves during this stay. An extra family stay at Domaine de la Jeanne. Sandrine and Xavier have an exceptional sense of hospitality and know how to create a friendly atmosphere in a very pleasant environment. The estate, is well located a few km from the Vans, and the cottages are very well equipped. A great stay ... although too short for everything we would like to do with the children around. I would highly recommend Domaine de la Jeanne!!

Our stay at Alice's house went very well. Ideally located between land, sea and mountains, we were able to enjoy the beautiful region and all it has to offer. Alice was a welcoming and caring host. Communication was fluid and precise. The accommodation is timeless, in a good way! We were able to disconnect from everyday life by enjoying the calm offered, the beautiful weather and the good smells of garrigue. Many quality artisans all around in the surrounding villages. Nîmes 20/30 minutes away, Uzès, Pont du Gard, vineyards, rivers, bulls... I can only recommend it! Thanks again Alice for making your beautiful home available on Airbnb.

Little slice of heaven away from the modern world. The accommodation has all the comforts you hope to have when you're looking for a place to rest. Personally I enjoyed the small roads of Lozère but the journeys are long and reserved for experienced drivers :) Ideal for those seeking isolation above all.

We booked our stay in August, just a few days before travelling, so we were pleased to find such a charming home. The photos published are true to life but actually don’t do it justice. It felt like someone left us their beautiful French home for a week - complete with a well equipped kitchen and dining room, a small library and many other features. Minimalist it is not, but travel is all about experiencing new charms in new corners of the world, so this ticked all the boxes.

Great stay circa 10 minutes walk from centre. Very quiet, great outside space with pool, excellent for kids with various outdoor games etc. We had a baby so good cot and mattress. Vallons pont d'arc superb area for kayaking, visiting the grotte and cycling plus loads more. Had a lot of fun.

Beautiful space, respectively and tastefully restored. Andrew and Caroline were so friendly and helpful. They responded almost immediately everytime we messaged. They always had a local recommendation up their sleeve! Their sons and in laws often stopped for a chat and made us feel very welcome. Comfy beds and lovely clean linen. Pool area is stunning! We'll definitely return if we find ourselves in the south of france again!

A great stay at Pascale's, in a beautiful location, with superb views of the Cévennes forests from the terrace. Pascale is great, and has excellent advice on things to do in the area, it was a pleasure to interact with her! The village is within walking distance, allowing you to go for a drink at the small restaurant, and you can go hiking from the cottage by following perfectly marked trails. In short, it's great, don't hesitate!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sabine's charming little house. Sabine and Marie-Rose, who takes care of the accommodation, did everything to make us feel good and that we didn't miss anything. The house is nice to spend a few relaxing days in a quiet environment with many walks accessible without taking the car. We recommend this place to all lovers of authenticity and nature.

After a ride on an adventurous road, we came to a beautiful place. The views are magnificent. The pool is wonderful. The cottage itself is tastefully decorated with a lot of art, also from Chantal himself. Chantal is very attentive and authentic. The house is full of history. There is only WiFi in the bedroom. Cooking in the kitchenette is a bit of a challenge if you want to cook extensively, but we managed fine. We had a lovely time. A place to come back again.
