Cilja gave us good recommendations for hikes in the surrounding area and was always happy to assist whenever we had questions or needed anything. The house itself is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views over the water — a truly peaceful and scenic location. We were a family of 5 who chose Maria's house over a hotel for our 4-day stay in Henningsvær. The stay was absolutely great and we enjoyed all the fine tableware, beautiful coffee cups and flowers in vases and pots. The beds were good, the rooms spacious and nice decor on the walls. Morning coffee was enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the harbor. When we arrived in Henningsvær on a public holiday, Maria offered to shop for us in advance as there was no grocery store open, which was worth its weight in gold to us. She also helped us choose ferry routes. Henningsvær is a great starting point for exploring Lofoten in terms of location and charm. We would love to come back to Maria's house🤩

We loved staying in Odd’s place. It has the most amazing views which constantly change with the tide going in and out and the gentle sound of running water. The setting of this house is great - it is convenient to get around and near restaurants and supermarkets. It is on a local road with other houses nearby but it is very quiet and peaceful. The 4 different seating areas around the outside of the house mean you always have somewhere to sit to suit the weather. The outside hot tub is fabulous. The house is well designed and styled with a great large kitchen and dining area. There is an excellent coffee machine and air fryer as well as oven and hob. There are lots of spices and herbs available to use and it is well kitted out. The sitting room has a cosy sofa area with big TV which you can cast to. The big glass windows look out over the water and have relaxing chairs there to enjoy the views. The beds are all comfortable. This is our favourite Airbnb we have stayed in.

My grandparents stayed at the house for three weeks and they were super satisfied! They saw the northern lights several times and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings around the house! Everything in the house was as it should be - and they would love to come again!

I spent 4 days at Tor Helge’s cabin and had a perfect stay. The place is calm, private, and the view is just amazing! The property goes down to the shore and my dog enjoyed walking up and down to the boat house and smelling the rabbits which I actually saw around. The house is really comfortable with all that you could need. Communication with Tor Helge was very friendly and pleasant and he made sure I had all I needed. He also left a list of places to visit, and I went to most of them, and they were just amazing local gems. I highly recommend staying here and I do hope to come back again in the future.

A stay at Reinefjorden Cottage is breathtaking, not just as you arrive on the ferry from Reine, but every time you glance out one of the cottage windows that frame the magical landscape outside. It's peaceful, serene, cosy and very very homely. It was easy to simply stop and enjoy the enchanting fjord in good company with the hosts and hard not to want to pull on the hiking shoes to explore the incredible surrounds. A hike over the pass to Horseid Beach is a must. :)

It was our second stay at this beautiful house and again it was perfect.

a fantastic cabin located at the edge of the sea overlooking the fjord. On a hot summer day, it is recommended to swim on the float as the langgrunna and shear heat the water and provide fantastic bathing conditions.

Great stay at Linda and Tor's (caring and responsive hosts), the house and location are amazing (quiet and serene) with the boat for small sea trips and for fishing. We'll be back for sure.

A stunning modern home in a peaceful setting that really takes advantage of the beautiful views across the sea to the mountains. We loved relaxing in the comfy chairs and watching the changing views and all the different seabirds & Sea eagles. A well equipped & really comfortable place to stay. Remote location, so need your own transport, unless happy to just hunker down for your stay, which is still a very nice option. Realy super helpful and caring host who was always extremely quick to respond and help whenever needed. Having the sea kayaks & boat available for use was a fantastic bonus. If I had to find any negatives (not easy), the hot water ran out a couple of times when showering and the water, which comes from a natural spring, had a little bit of an unusual smell/colour, but I drank the water and was completely fine during our stay, plus the host kindly left a generous supply of bottled mineral water anyway! A beautiful place to stay, a super host and we hope to return.

We liked the seclusion of the location very much, it was very quiet and pleasant. The view with the large window was simply magnificent, you could have looked out for hours. We also enjoyed the ice bath in the sea like the large hot tub, from which we could enjoy the northern lights. So everything all around perfect!
