Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Vecht

We had an amazing two-month stay at this lovely place! The neighborhood is fantastic for families, especially if you enjoy peaceful walks, greenery, and animals. Very close to the house, there are multiple playgrounds, which was perfect for us. Plus, public transportation makes it easy to reach nearby towns (highly recommend to visit: Edam). The hosts were exceptional—always responsive, incredibly thoughtful, and provided us with tons of local insights. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. The house itself is great! It’s spacious with beautiful natural light, a big garden, and even a sauna for extra relaxation. We couldn’t have been happier with this arrangement and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a welcoming and comfortable stay.

We had a very nice weekend with two couples and 4 small kids in Bart and Bas's cottage. The house is cozy and there are lots of toys available for the kids which was very convenient! Also quick and clear communication with the hosts which was very nice. There is an outdoor and indoor playground, a petting zoo and a swimming pool in the park. So we didn't have to go far to entertain ourselves and the kids. In short, with all the facilities nearby and the nice house we were able to have a very relaxing weekend together!

We had a nice family holiday in Wyik aan Zee. Beautiful beach for walking. A trip to Haarlem and Amsterdam was also on the agenda. Highly recommend. All in all, we will be happy to come back.

What a wonderful weekend we had in the beautiful spacious house with huge garden a stone's throw from the dunes and the beach. Very much enjoyed the first spring weekend but we also like to come back here in the summer fall or winter!

The house is fantastic. Cozy, private, clean and equipped with every comfort. It is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood, but the large shopping center is within walking distance. Contact with Remco is relaxed, smooth and he responds kindly and quickly. Remco makes us feel at home and he is very helpful and thoughtful. Anything our annual friends weekend needed is present. The temperature of both the house and the jacuzzi are very pleasant. I recommend this place to everyone! We'd love to come back next year. Thank you so much Remco.

We spent 6 wonderful days in this lovely little house: location in the beautiful waterland region filled with birds, very close to Amsterdam and other pretty sites ( waterland villages, Marken Island, Edam, Zaans shans...). The house is very warm and decorated with great taste and care, "hygge" atmosphere with Scandinavian guaranteed because it is a real cocoon of sweetness. Victor and Elsbeth were very welcoming, very friendly and discreet at the same time. We felt right at home. Thank you very much for your kindness! We really want to come back!

Our stay was even better than we had hoped! It is an incredibly cozy and nice cottage in a beautiful location. Everything we needed was present. In short, had a very nice stay and definitely recommended :)

We thoroughly enjoyed the place. It is located in a quiet and idyllic location directly on a small canal, with easy access to the nearest cities Hoorn and Alkmaar as well as the beach, which can be reached in about 30 minutes by car. The apartment was very clean and well appointed. Especially the large bathroom with towels and bathrobes as well as the cozy living room and kitchen convinced us. The bed was extremely comfortable so we slept wonderfully. The host was extremely friendly and accommodating. We were warmly welcomed, got a small tour of the horse farm and valuable excursion tips. Also on departure, the owner inquired about suggestions for improvement, which was very attentive. We can fully recommend this accommodation and would be happy to come back!

Dear Hans and Paul, Our little family had a very nice time at your place. You were very helpful accepting our daughter’s packages we ordered. New Year’s Eve was special, as far as we could see, there were fireworks. Hope to visit Wassenaar in the summer time too.

The accommodation offered was very well maintained, clean, quiet, the bed linen was of very high quality and the bed very comfortable. Lekkerkerk is a beautiful and very charming village. Michiel was very good advice and recommended a very good restaurant in the village (de nar) as well as a great route to go by boat (waterbus) to Rotterdam and Dordrecht.

Beautiful accommodation in rural and peaceful setting. Host and lady, Wim and Renee, very friendly and flexible. Very social and open minded with a positive enthusiasm to tell the past and present of their farm and b and b accommodation, and a healthy interest in the well and woe of the guests. Nice and enjoyable combo. The stays are very nice and contemporary trendy, we felt right at home and spoiled with the decor and that the accommodation is fully equipped. Surroundings are rural and timeless, which ensures a healthy rest comes to you. All in all, a more than recommendable place to stay, with a very nice location as a stay...with a friendly flexible host and lady and all this in a nice area.

Very good location, 15min walk to Ahoy Rotterdam the metro station, restaurants and groceries. Host was very friendly and offered flexible check in and check out times. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended accommodation! :) We were most impressed by the more remote, quiet location and of course the pool. Communication with Maarten was very easy, fast and personable and the place had everything you could need - very nice and cozy.

Great place will definitely use it again

We stayed at Advas house with our dog for three nights and really enjoyed our stay. The host was leaving some treats for us and even for Lumi (our dog) and also suggested nice restaurants and possible walks with gpx files in the area. The place was just as presented on Air BnB, really clean and nicely decorated. Unfortunately we didn’t have the time to really enjoy the garden but I’m sure it would be great to enjoy a nice little fire outside :) would be nice to come back in summertime!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cozy cabin! The hosts were incredibly accommodating, making sure I had everything I needed. The cabin itself was perfect/charming, comfortable, and full of character. The best part was the stunning scenery, with a beautiful lake at the doorstep. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Plus, the location was ideal—peaceful and tranquil, yet close enough to Amsterdam to easily explore the city. This place really made my time in the Netherlands special. Highly recommend.

Very nice bush to write. The birds chirp and come by to say hello. You can immediately take a walk and drink a cup of tea from the kettle at home. TV and nice bed to sleep in. Get away from it all.

Had a wonderful weekend in this cozy and cozy house. Great that our four-legged friends were allowed to come😍. Relax wonderfully in the sauna, good beds and nice warm blankets. Fantastic hiking tours made in the area. Recommended!

We had a great stay with Nico and Danielle. They are very nice hosts who are quick to respond to any queries. Even a smart TV was arranged at our request. The cottage has all the comforts and is very tastefully decorated. Great bathroom and bed. The cottage is in their backyard, but you hardly notice that because it is completely enclosed from the main house. The area is worthwhile with Hoorn and Enkhuizen. In short: had a great week!

We had an amazing stay here, the area is so peaceful and quiet and was perfect for a break. The rowing boats and canals were such an amazing bonus too. We could get food delivered for dinner but the shops were less than 15 mins drive away too. We will most definitely be booking this again ❤️
