Wow what can I say about our stay apart from myself and my husband did not want to leave. Simen’s place is small but super cosy and warm, had everything you needed. Sitting out on the jetty watching the Northern lights or just reading a book was heavenly amongst the fjord / mountains. A short walk to the bus which takes you to town or use the snow shoes provided to go for hikes up the mountain there was plenty to do. Simen was a fantastic host, excellent communication before, during and after our stay giving us local places to visit, places to eat and things to do/see. Simen even messaged to let us know when the northern lights were there. I cannot recommend Simen’s Airbnb highly enough a secret haven in an area of outstanding beauty. Thank you for a wonderful stay, you did not disappoint!

a great place to stay in Tromso, the sea is right in front and you can watch the ships passing by every day very nice with a view of the Fjord. The house has a nice view and you can see the aurora borealis right at home without having to move anywhere else. I was very lucky to see the aurora borealis on the last 2 days here. The house is very nice and clean, fully equipped with a large kitchen and a very nice living room, there is a private garage which is very convenient when it is winter and snow everywhere. Heidi was very enthusiastic in guiding us during our stay and also informed us about the weather when we went out.

We were there as a family of 4. The house is well maintained, modernly furnished, the furnishings have everything you need. The location is nicely quiet, about 30 min from the city. We saw the best aurora lights right from the house. Marit is a very nice and friendly host, we felt comfortable right from the beginning. We would book this house again any time, unfortunately we only had 5 days there, still have aurbers on 2 days seen. Thank you for everything.

An unforgettable experience! Elin’s cabins are picturesque, sitting on the shores of a fjord, overlooked by only the mountains behind — and at night by the northern lights. It really made our holiday special. Elin answered our queries without hesitation and very kindly. We even had an issue with our rental car and she rang them to see if she could help. Great host! Tips and things to know: - Be prepared for a more traditional type of living. There is a proper bio toilet for solids, and a smaller toilet for liquids. - There is a portable shower in the second cabin — you can used heated up water from the kettle. - There is no running water, but a nearby creek/stream with crystal clear drinking water. - The cabin gets lovely and warm with 2 electric radiators and the wood burning stove. - It is very well equipped with everything you need. Living arrangements: 2 separate cabins. Main cabin has the living area and kitchen. Second cabin has another bedroom, fridge and toilet.
