Vacation rentals in Vågå Municipality

We had a great stay as a group of 3, we really liked the place. Despite being in the middle of the wilderness, the hut is very modern and well-equipped. It was cosy with good heating and insulation. The upstairs space is very spacious and has a great traditional style, with solid wood floors and sturdy log construction. Kitchen is well equipped and allowed us to cook good meals. There is also a wood burner and supply of wood which is easy to use (though the electric heating is already very effective). The downstairs floor has a more modern style. Beds and sofa beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms are nice and spacious. For EV drivers, there is a charger by the garage which is useful for charging overnight. In terms of location, we used this as a base to explore the fjords, with access to points on Geirangerfjord, Sognefjord and Romsdalsfjord around 2 hours away by car.

A great, albeit shorter stay in the romantic old house on the hill! Ellen welcomed us personally and warmly and showed us everything, the view of the village of Lom is beautiful, the tastefully and lovingly furnished apartment puts you in a different time! Truly a idyllic place!

A very wonderful cabin, functional and timelessly puristic. Through the large windows and the reserved, high-quality furnishings and equipment, nature is always the focus. You don't get tired of just sitting and watching (fantastic excursions into nature but of course also in the immediate vicinity).

Idyllic spot to stay in the middle of the forest! About 40 min drive to the start of Bessegen. House is warm and cosy. Only plus would be if bed linen was ironed and on beds when you arrived.

The appartment is well located to do trips to the national parks. The whole area around is beautiful. The appartement is comfortable and had everything we needed, we really enjoyed staying there. The ceiling lamp in the bedroom has some sort of very slight glow to it when switched off, but it was okay to sleep. (I’ve seen this sort of lamp in other Norwegian rooms)

A very cozy cabin with old charm in the middle of nature on the outskirts of Lom. You can start hiking immediately and then warm up well in the cabin.

Beautiful mountain cabin, warm and cozy, with attention to details honoring the history of the region. Both electric heat and wood stove heat with plenty of firewood provided. Very friendly and responsive hosts who kept the road and walkway cleared of snow for us. Synnøve went above and beyond to help us find and connect with family relations in the area, making our stay meaningful and memorable. Thank you Synnøve and Erik!
