Home in Dominicalito
5 out of 5 average rating, 12 reviewsCasa Piscina Playa Y Mar Dominicalito,Costa Rica
Beautiful condo inside and out, the double infinity pool was great with tremendous sunset view. Nice elevation views with a local monkey presence in the morning. Close to the main road compared to other options. Would highly recommend.

This home was beautiful, and the view unmatched! Oscar was so responsive and helpful with our very many requests. He gave local recommendations and booked anything we needed, even on short notice. It felt like our home away from home. We would definitely stay at this house again when we are back in town.

The road to get to the location needs a bit of pot hole work but once you get to the house, you really don’t want to leave anyway! The place is absolutely amazing and everything one would need. There are great restaurants close by and activities if you’d like as well. So thankful to have had been able to find this place last minute as our previous location wasn’t going to work for our needs.

4.44 out of 5 average rating, 9 reviewsOjochal Magnificent Ocean View
Wonderful place to stay! The views are incredible, highly recommend. The house is well built in the side of mountain. The outdoor space is setup very well for sun or rain, spacious and relaxing. All doors are structured with solid doors and screens that when used properly keep insects out. The instructions say this, but put the GSP of Hotel El Castillo into navigation, and this house is 50 meters past. We able to easily find the house based on the photos in the listing. The property manager was communicative and very responsive.

This place is so beautiful. We loved our stay and enjoyed the amazing view. The shower is so cool. You can shower with a view on the mountains! I really recommend this place if you like it quiet and private.

Home in Morazán
4.81 out of 5 average rating, 72 reviewsCasa Llaama
Choosing a place to stay from photos alone, is dubious. We planned to stay 10 days at CasaLlama, but stayed 3 wks. We debated whether to review at all so as to keep the secret. We have visited over 25 countries on 6 continents and asked each other the same question over the years: what makes the perfect stay? Is it 800 thread count sheets? A view? Amenities? What we always came back to? It’s the place you’re sad to leave. This is such a place. The Tico-style home is lovely and cozy, the grounds lush and magical, the location–a single 10-minute road by car, uber, or bus to town–perfect. The rushing rapids, cicadas, and tree frogs create the perfect sound track. The natural pool carved into the river under a jungle canopy just might be the fountain of youth. Leo was there when needed and invisible when not. His little black book provided experiences, dining and surprisingly good onsite PT (old injury) and acupuncture. We are packed and ready to go home. But we don’t want to leave…

Have travelled the world and this truly may have been the most beautiful home and place we have ever enjoyed. Spectacular view, great architecture, very well stocked, and the host, Lori, is very helpful. It is up on a steep mountain, a real challenge to get to, but it's well worth the extra effort. A once in a lifetime experience.

Villa in Puntarenas Province
5 out of 5 average rating, 19 reviewsCasa Amigos - Breathtaking Luxe Ocean View Villa
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Casa Amigos. This property is absolutely stunning - there is an incredible view, tranquil surroundings, a great pool and outdoor area, and the villa is fabulous. Shannon was super responsive to our requests for information and provided assistance with booking a rental vehicle, and Adrian and Jordan were awesome! Jordan met us right on time to guide us the property (the road isn't that scary!), orient us to the villa, and he helped us arrange a private chef experience. We even had a pair of toucans in the surrounding trees to greet us every morning. 5 stars all around - we can't wait to come back!

This place is beyond amazing. We were in awe of the stunning views, the beautiful and functional furnishings, and the privacy the lay out provided for our group. Anick is a wonderful host. Making sure we had everything we needed and was quick to respond to any questions. She is also knowledgeable about local restaurants and activities. I will definitely be staying here again on the next group trip.

This is a luxury villa. For two families it was absolutely perfect. The pool is impeccable and the space set up around it are attention to detail, comfortable, beautiful from every angle and well thought out. We all could relax around the pool together or separately and have space in gorgeous surroundings. House also fantastic and so many different eating areas :")

What an amazing place to stay in Costa Rica! Malwina was excellent in communication and care for us. Elizabeth was also a great host for us and very informative and helpful. The home and location are both wonderful. It is a luxury home on a more secluded beach, which we loved. You can see Malwina thought of every detail for an Airbnb and spared no expense. Elizabeth was also quick to respond to any question or need that arose for us. We saw Scarlet Macaws and a sloth in the back yard! We absolutely loved our stay here and hope to get to stay here again! We highly recommend it! Thank you Malwina and Elizabeth for helping make our family vacation so enjoyable!

Villa in Uvita

My sister and I stayed here for 3 nights and we were very pleased with the place!!! It is up a mountain and away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to Uvita and everything you need! It feels like your own little piece of paradise surrounded by wild life and lots of beautiful plants. We saw a monkey in the tree upon arrival. The river is so close that you can hear it and it’s super peaceful!! Very beautiful water falls near by, the national park, and the beach!!! I will say I don’t know if we would’ve made it up the mountain and to the resort without a 4x4! Also, I must note that the upstairs and downstairs unit are separate. The bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs. So, if you’re like me and have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night you do have to go outside and downstairs to use the bathroom!!! But it was really no problem. Incredible place for the price! Highly recommend 😌

Villa in Platanillo

Catherine and Ryan’s villas are something out of a fairytale. The keen attention to detail in the aesthetics, from the Turkish cotton towels, to the cozy linen sheets, showed that they are hosts who have genuine care and love for their property. To have wildlife exposure while also being just down the road from farmer’s markets, convenience stores and restaurants allows for convenience in the heart of a rainforest. The landscape is well maintained and our chef Marta is unmatched! All of this said, you can find countless beautiful villas in the area. Why we would come back to these villas is exclusively because of Catherine’s incredible support. She was very thorough and communicative offering endless resources so that myself and our guests could have the best experience. Her knowledge of the area and what it has to offer exceeded our expectations. Hands down she is the reason to come back for more retreats!

Stunning house! The views are incredible and lovely to wake up in the morning with floor to ceiling windows of the view across the valley. It’s pretty remote but that comes with being on the side of the mountain with the views and only a 20min drive down to the supermarket / closest restaurants.

It is a very nice and cozy place, super quiet surrounded by nature, very clean and with everything you need for the stay. I am very grateful for the honesty and kindness of the hosts , we left a bag out of carelessness and it was immediately reported by them for the delivery. Excellent on their part . We will return the beautiful and comfortable place.

This home is a cool home. We loved our stay here and plan to stay here in the future. The view is incredible. Toucans like to set up in the evening on the large trees in the front of the home, hummingbirds feed on the flowering bushes, fruit trees everywhere. And the privacy of the home is very nice. And then Ana and her husband are both extremely hospitable and kind hosts. Even met an uncle and father and they were both very nice. They helped with any question I had and suggested things I wanted suggestions on. Funny enough, we made friends in town who had stayed at this house two months prior and they had nothing but good things to say about their stay here also. So, stay here, you won’t regret it.

Guillermo was a great host. He met us at the gate and was very welcoming. His place is a fun quirky little place and his pride of ownership shows. The kitchen was well stocked and the La Hermosa town square, with a consistently good little restaurant La Cuchara de Lao, was a short walk away.

Such a beautiful peaceful stay! As a gardener myself I enjoyed the fruitful garden they had on the farm with free use! Such a peaceful landscape to coincide with the hot tub, sauna, pool, and yoga Shala. Danielle was very responsive and helpful with any questions that we had! My only concern which seems to be common here in Costa Rica is no shower curtain! I absolutely adore the concept, but the reality of it is water kind of got everywhere! Danielle was quick to respond with some extra towels! The location at self is gorgeous a bit cloudy but on a good day a beautiful view. I will say if you’re one that likes to enjoy the town, I would not suggest booking the stay unless you were comfortable driving the steep rocky dirt roads that lead up the mountains! For us we were comfortable to the drive wasn’t bad. It’s a short 30 minute or so drive down to town overall I absolutely love this place and would definitely stay again. A a gorgeous and peaceful place to escape from reality!
