I can’t say enough good things about this beautiful cabin. The setting is absolutely beautiful. This is our second time staying at Jackie and Rene’s property and we hope to return again as soon as we are able to. This cabin is so luxurious and they were kind and gracious hosts. We were so thankful for this little getaway.

I want to start by saying that this place was beautiful and as pictured and I would come back, but with different expectations. While we had some issues (most of which were out of the hosts control like a power outage), the hosts were responsive to our needs.

Things to keep in mind if visiting -

First and foremost- My wife and I tried to make this a working trip, and unfortunately, while the internet tried its hardest, the remoteness of this location didn’t allow more than one of us to be online at a time without the internet slowing or stopping.

Secondly - while all of the amenities listed are present, the fire pit is a good distance away from the housing and the grill is not exactly what most would expect with a grill, so plan accordingly.

Lastly - it’s remote and in the woods. Be aware as bugs and other creatures were present.

Overall - 4.5 stars if your goal is a remote getaway without service and to disconnect.

3 stars if you are requiring access to phone or internet.

This home was clean, nice and a pleasant surprise for my group of 6. The dock and home serves our needs very well for our three day stay.

This was our favorite Airbnb stay of all time. The kindest hosts with the most beautiful home/property you could imagine. Can’t wait to come back to this perfect mountain getaway!
