Gretchen’s place was clean and quiet. I was traveling to another destination and needed an overnight stay that was close to 80 that was safe. This unit fit the bill for everything I needed. My only regret is that I missed out on the scones that everyone raves about due to my early departure 😉. Maybe next time…

I cant speak highly enough about this BnB and the host. Both are lovely. This was my 2nd stay at this location. It's the little touches that make such an impact. The tea she leaves in the room for you, the breakfast she leaves outside the door. The creamer she puts in the fridge for you. It is home away from home. You walk in the door and you are instantly hit with warm smells of fresh baked goods that follow you up the stairs. I love waking up to the sounds of the piano. And walking down to conveniently shop in the tea shop or order from their delicious menu. I love looking around the shop too at all the beautiful and cute decor. Its the tea party that you always dreamt of. The host is also extremely responsive, personable and accommodative. I cannot wait to come back and visit again. Gretchen has a life long customer from me ♥️

We had a lovely weekend! Safe and quiet neighborhood where we could walk to many awesome spots. The Tea Room is closed in the evening, so no noise from below. Short walk to the Conant St. bridge over the Maumee River for sunrise/sunset pictures, multiple coffee shops and a fabulous ice cream shop (Jacky's Depot). Short drive to pristine Pickelball courts that are open to the public at Rotary Community Park. Highly recommend Gretchen's place! Thanks!!

We had another great one-night stay above the Tea House! Check-in/out was easy, Gretchen was so helpful/communicative, and the scones and fruit in the morning were a delight. We took a short walk to Uptown Maumee and had sandwiches at Side Cuts and ice cream at Jacky's Depot - both were delicious! The space itself was quiet and well appointed with everything we needed. Thanks for another wonderful stay!
