I played professional soccer from 1994 until 2007. I helped start Major League Soccer in 1996, and played for the Los Angeles Galaxy for 12 seasons. I played on the first U.S. men’s soccer team at the 1992 Olympic Games and competed in 3 FIFA World Cups, becoming the all-time cap leader for the USMNT. I was inducted into the U.S. Soccer Hall of Fame in 2011.
