The house itself was great—clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything we needed, from a well-stocked kitchen to entertainment options like video games. The rural location was peaceful and scenic, making for a nice getaway.

Unfortunately, the biggest downside was the overwhelming, rancid smell that greeted us upon arrival. Despite our best efforts—opening windows, lighting candles, and even boiling cinnamon sticks—the odor lingered throughout our stay. When we contacted the property management team, their response was disappointing.

If the odor issue is resolved and the management team improves its communications, this would be a fantastic rental. But as it stands, the experience left much to be desired.

A perfect getaway. The chalet is gorgeous, and tucked away. The hot tub is the perfect way to ward off the cold temperatures. You go here for the chalet and the peaceful atmosphere. The town itself is very small and you'll want to make sure you've brushed up on some french. It was exactly what we were looking for. Enjoyed dog sledding at a local recommendation. Drove out to sherbrooke one day for a spa. But otherwise enjoyed relaxing at the chalet. Cooking, movies, board games, fire, and the hot tub.
