We stayed at Monika’s place for five nights. It’s a very picturesque old house with spacious and clean rooms. One of our favourite holiday moments was opening a bottle of wine and sitting in the beautiful garden, enjoying the stunning view of Lake Léman and the mountains on a sunny day. We often walked down to the train station to visit the charming towns of Montreux and Vevey. Monika and Danielle were wonderful hosts, and we truly enjoyed our conversations with them. We would love to come back.

Le temps n’était pas de la partie. Malgré tout nous sommes enchantés. Monika et sa fille sont très gentilles et nous ont reçus avec beaucoup de plaisir. Il y avait tout à l’intérieur pour se sentir comme chez nous. N’hésitez donc pas à découvrir cette maison au calme avec une vue ouah!

The surroundings are beautiful half way up a slope that overlooks the lake. The location is ideal for exploring the surroundings areas by car. With Interlaken and Mount Blanc within a couple of hours. The apartment was clean and tidy and very quite. Amazing hosts who were welcoming and knowledgeable.

We loved our 4 nights at Monika and Danielle’s. They were super welcoming and looked after us - full of tips and friendly conversation. The area is beautiful of course, has a local shop nearby but be warned the walk back up the hill can be an effort on tired legs. We would love to come back!
