My husband and I did this as a fun date and it was a great experience. It was cool to learn from Asad/Ultra about not just hip hop and graffiti, but also the history of graffiti in DC specifically. I think I got a good 101 overview, and it was really fun to practice on a wall. I wish that they offered a 201 level option as well so you could keep practicing/doing with less of the lecture component, but it was cool to get tips from such an expert/DC legend! It's nice that the profits go back to Words, Beats and Life.

Bought this for my partner’s Birthday.
Assad was super knowledgeable, giving us a good run through of the history of graffiti and hip hop. Had a lot of fun learning how to write our tag names on a wall. An enjoyable experience!
Also 100% of the cost goes back to the organisation! It looks like they do incredible work here with children and adults.
