Today3 reasons why this experience was not worth it for me:
1- Nick was over 45 minutes later, yet he never gave a single apology nor explanation for being late at arrival. No big deal.
2- this activity should be called “Spear fishing watching” at best! Nick is the only one with the gun, he never once explained to the group how the gun works nor briefed the group about the hunt. He basically collects $1000.00 per group for you to swim behind him like puppies, and you would be lucky to even see the actual hunt unless you are literally on his feet under water. He ended up spearing two 4” perch on the whole trip.
3- I was not a fan of the way he assessed the group. Too much yelling and screaming for no reason, idk about you but I have zero tolerance for being talked to like a child. I am very respectful and I expect the same from you especially when I am the customer and paid for such service.

For lovers of the ocean, this is a truly world-class experience. Nick opens a window into the hidden magic of California’s kelp forests — teeming with life, color, and movement. His enthusiasm and deep love for the sea are contagious, which makes every moment feel alive with wonder.
I won’t spoil the surprises, but expect to discover a secluded cove, encounter an astonishing array of marine life, and be swept up in Nick’s joy for sharing this underwater world. It’s an experience for the curious and the adventurous — you’ll swim, dive, and witness things that will stretch your imagination. You’ll leave not just with salt on your skin, but with a memory that will likely stay with you for a lifetime.
