Richard was an amazing host. He is very generous and accommodating. The cabin and forest are beautiful. You’re nestled between lots of trees so even when it’s super hot you don’t feel it.

One night I had a fire going and it started raining, I didn’t feel anything due nature’s canopy (all the trees). This place makes you feel like you’re miles deep in the woods. Richard provides you with an axe, saw, grill grates, shovel, and more; pretty much everything you need to live in a dry cabin.

I have always loved tent camping, but this experience made me realize how much I love nature and how much I’m shifting away from apartment living. It has inspired me to purchase some land, build my own cabin, and learn to live more with and off the land.
