Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Upper Palatinate

We were in St. Engelmar with two adults and two infants. The apartment is clean, beautiful and yet child-friendly and in a top location with many leisure options in the immediate vicinity (indoor playground, playground, hiking trails, ski school, café, tourist info). Our children were particularly enthusiastic about the indoor swimming pool in the house. The Waldwipfelweg is also not far away. The house itself is very large with many families in the other apartments. Nevertheless it was quiet overall. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely come again:)

Anytime again! All-round carefree package with super beautiful indoor swimming pool for the kids, sauna included. The surroundings also have a lot to offer, even without snow. The place was great, everything you could ever need was there. Anything. Lots of information material for leisure, games, books. I was particularly interested in the communication with Stefan and Sabine. The hosts took great care and were always reachable. A completely successful getaway!

Wolfgang's apartment is highly recommended. Ideally located for our purposes (business trip to Frankfurt), so we only had to leave the motorway for a short time. Nevertheless, the apartment is very quiet, which was also very important to us. Easy to reach and uncomplicated check-in.

The amenities and location are very good. The host is uncomplicated and easily accessible. Also uncomplicated for dogs, a walk in the adjacent forest is very convenient. The sauna is highly recommended.

A very nice apartment, not very large, but also sufficient for 4 people, very practical and space-saving with the closet bed. The kitchen is also super equipped, we didn't miss anything. The short path across the hallway to the indoor pool was also perfect, so bathrobe and slippers on and back exactly like that. Editha was a super hostess, was always available and super likeable. Definitely recommended for a short weekend.

For 3 - 4 people a great apartment in the Predigtstuhl Resort with swimming pool and sauna. Great with kids. Ski school right next door. Wifi as well. Had a lovely stay in Sankt Englmar in winter 2025.

A really very beautiful apartment with the most modern amenities. Everything was there and the place is easy to reach. However, in case of a heavy winter break, all-wheel drive is mandatory. The shower is a nice size and the bed is comfortable. Overall, absolute recommendation!

First of all, the host Sarah was very friendly, responded quickly to questions and there were clear and useful instructions regarding check-in and location. Apartment corresponds to the description and photos and is well equipped.

We felt very comfortable in the apartment and had everything we needed there, so we would be happy to come back. Of course, the highlights were the activities offered in the house, such as the swimming pool, sauna and table tennis area.

A very nice apartment, super located. There is a summer toboggan run, a whale peak path and numerous hiking trails nearby. If the weather is not so good, you can spend time in the swimming pool or in the sauna in the house. A restaurant with delicious food is also available nearby. The apartment itself is nicely spacious, clean, has a sufficiently large balcony and a rain shower. All in all we had a comfortable stay.

Everything was perfect. We dated here for almost a week and had one of the best times. The host is very friendly and very fast in response. The apartment itself was fully equipped with everything one might need. The resort itself had a lot of activities to do. Will definitely come again!

This home is one of the best we have stayed at. First and foremost Gabi was incredibly responsive and helpful, additionally her English is fantastic! The home itself has amazingly beautiful views with a walking path right outside. The home is new so it has all of the creature comforts one needs. The appliances are all top notch, the floor warming was a treat and I even learned how to bake in the German oven. I also very much appreciated the colors in the bedroom. The beds were very comfy and we got very good sleep due to the peacefulness of the area. We will be going back here again for sure!

Reiko is incredibly service minded and has a great home for 4 people. Nothing was missing, and Reiko was quick to respond if we asked anything. The only thing we missed was air conditioning in one of the rooms when it got incredibly hot. We would definitely recommend his place to others.

We had a great stay at Toni's vacation home! The house is modern, tastefully furnished and well equipped – nothing is missing. The location is ideal, with beautiful views of fields and forests. During the day we took walks, and in the evening we enjoyed the wonderful scenery and sunset in the garden while barbecuing and eating. It couldn't be more perfect! We will be happy to come back :)
