Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Upper Normandy

Une belle adresse dans une petite maison typiquement Normande avec ses beaux colombages. Tout est parfait pour s'y sentir bien et Virginie est d'une très grande gentillesse 🐮🍎🌳

On cherchait un endroit pour se retrouver en famille, nous avons trouvé un petit coin de paradis dans le Perche. Grande maison pleine de cachet et de charme, ambiance “brocante chic” avec son mobilier ancien, lequel n’ôte rien à son confort et ses nombreux équipements facilitateurs. Sans parler du vaste « tapis » de verdure devant la maison, où vénérables cerisiers et pommiers font la course à la plus belle floraison. L'endroit est tellement harmonieux et calme qu’on se demande si les seuls occupants à la ronde ne sont pas les oiseaux. Au final, on ne sait plus où l'on se sent le mieux : dedans ou dehors. Pour conclure, mention spéciale à Thierry, le propriétaire des lieux: ultra réactif, arrangeant et sûrement guide touristique dans une autre vie. Grâce à ses conseils, nous avons découvert des pépites locales qu’on n’aurait jamais trouvées seuls. Bref, 4 jours parfaits. On recommande chaudement (sauf si vous faites du bruit – là, les oiseaux risquent de vous faire un sort 😄).

Quaint old French house, and part of a larger estate, though fully separated in terms of privacy and access. The building is well maintained and provides all the needed comforts whilst maintaining a great atmosphere. The house has an own driveway and plenty of facilities in terms of kitchenware, books, movies etc. The beds were made upon arrival and there is more than enough linen, towels etc. The garden is large and provides places to chill in the sun throughout the day. A full stocked library on all the local possible sights you can imagine is available in a well structured manner. Lastly, the location is superb. Both access to the cities (Bayeux and Caen), as well as the D-Day sights are within easy drive. Sophie was super welcoming and we truly enjoyed our stay here!

Grande maison sécurisée très bien agencée et très joliment meublée. Le jardin est magnifique. Commerces à proximité. Nombreuses possibilités de randonnées . Le calme et la nature sont au rendez vous . et Marie, notre hôte était proactive compréhensive et très attentionnée Nous recommandons vivement.

Séjour très agréable dans le logement de Lauren. Très beau logement avec une très belle décoration et un bel emplacement. Commerces à proximité, parcs, lacs et châteaux. Séjour très agréable et paisible, parfait pour se ressourcer et déconnecter. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le Fort est paisible et accueillant, nous étions comme à la maison avec en plus un vrai dépaysement ! Daniel et Agnès sont d'une gentillesse véritable et la passion de Daniel serait contagieuse si nous avions plus de temps 😃

Logement parfaitement situé pour visiter les plages du débarquement, hôtes chaleureux qui nous avaient laissé d’adorables attentions (feu préparé dans la cheminée, bonbons pour les enfants, cidres pour les adultes..), tout était parfait!

Peu de choses à mentionner quand il s'agit d'un second séjour dans un même logement...si ce n'est rappeler la gentillesse de notre hôte qui a encore une fois tout fait pour s'adapter au mieux à nos horaires. Bonne communication avec notre hôte, toujours rapide, clair et efficace dans ses réponses, un vrai coach ! Appartement ok, accès facile par métro, bien sécurisé et très calme. Nous avons donc passé un très agréable séjour, merci pour l'accueil cette fois encore ! A bientôt peut-être pour une nouvelle échappée de 42,195 km dans les belles rues de notre capitale !

Top zentrale Lage am Montmartre, Metro nur 3 Minuten entfernt, viele Restaurants in der unmittelbaren Umgebung. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

An excellent small apartment with a beautiful view of the small port at Honfleur . A wonderful stay. Will definitely be back again.

The location was so quiet considering how close to the Arc de Triumph we were. Easy to walk to the Metro and explore many parts of the city (I would recommend the Argentine Metro over Charles de Gaulle by the Arc which was much busier and hectic). A local boulangerie, Boucherie and coffee shop along with many restaurants to choose from). Having the toilette and wash area separate was very nice with 3 people staying in the apartment. We ended up not using many of the amenities (dishwasher, washer, stove or cook too) but nice to have available. And while the kitchen was small, we still ended up able to have 3 people standing in it for a late evening snack). While the bedrooms are small, the beds are comfortable and the large closet was needed and used for our belongings, There are stairs but easily manageable. While we did have one issue, Nicholas was responsive and helpful. I would return in the future.

I stayed for a month at Elodie’s apartment. She stocked the refrigerator with my favorites before I arrived. I totally enjoyed my stay as it is a block away from 2 metros, several eating spots and a Gifu across the street. The views every morning were just spectacular as was the night view of Sacre Cour turned green for StPatricks Day! Elodie is special and very kind. I loved my stay in Paris and I loved Elodies place.

Had a lovely stay at Anne-Laure's flat. Check in was super easy; Anne-Laure was both communicative and flexible. The flat is an artsy and cosy space, with a very sweet and friendly cat. I adore the area, there are so many good places to eat and drink. The street is busy and vibey and full of life, which is what we signed up for. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable, la résidence de Michael est très bien entretenue et l’emplacement est parfait pour se reposer au calme. Michael est un hôte aimable et très disponible lorsqu’on a eu besoin de lui sur place. La piscine est spacieuse et très bien entretenue, les chambres sont confortables et propres, de même pour les espaces communs. Nous recommandons vivement de séjourner dans ce logement !

Endroit magnifique et dépaysant. Idéal pour un week-end familial été comme hiver. Les installations sont très propre et tout est parfaitement fonctionnel. A 15 min de la mer. Je conseille sans hésitation

We had a fantastic stay, the place is beautiful and spacious. What a lovely and novel experience..we will not forget staying near Etretat which is reflected in the beautiful setting of the property! The expansive scenery and location was so peaceful, the property was so practical for our large family size and in particular the bar area was a super socialising space! Equally my daughter had an amazing time with her cousins and I am sure we will look back and fondly remember our trip to this gîte! Thanks to you Julien for making the great memories possible!

Très belle maison de famille offrant une vue magnifique sur la baie de Deauville dans un environnement paisible et nature. La communication avec les propriétaires, très sympathiques, fut efficace. Une belle adresse pour découvrir Deauville et sa région en famille.

Superbe maison avec une vue sur télé t sur la plage La maison est spacieuse on recommande Bon à savoir si les plombs de l’électricité sautent le compteur pour le remettre se trouve à côté du portail sur votre despote il ne faut pas chercher dans la maison Petit bémol dans la chambre du bas le sommier est casé côté droit et une planche été mise pour solidifier , mais elle est épaisse quand on dort dessus on ne sent que cela . nous avons mentionné le point pour que cela soit changé Sinon tout est top

Toujours un plaisir de retrouver ce bel endroit ! Hôte très accueillante et la villa toujours aussi magnifique et confortable à 5min de la plage. On reviendra pour une 4eme fois :-)

We had a lovely stay. The house is a great light space, plenty of room, good sized beds, lovely terrace and big garden with swing, slide and tree house. Feels like being in the forest. Big airy lounge and seperate TV/playroom Kitchen well equipped, good big BBQ. Garden secure behind large electric gates.Isabelle responsive and helpful recommendations. Hotel next door great view for a glass, and food decent if you don't fancy the walk to the village, where there is a great restaurant. The local beach is quite a steep path but is stunning with the tide out, lots of sand, swimming, rock pools. It is tide dependant, so have to time to avoid pebbles, but lots of sand if you time sensibly. Beautiful peaceful location. Not perfect or pristine, but that is fine by us with two toddlers, and great value. Looks even better than the photos. Would happily return.

Huge garden with boules court (boules included!) bbq and pool. Villa itself stunning, spacious and v well equipped. Great laundry room. Village pretty with wonderful, welcoming boucherie. Abbeville handy and St Valerie full of great and varied restaurants. V pretty. Trip up the Somme valley a must. Finally thanks to Phillippe who was a great host. We would love to return some time.
