We really enjoyed the calm and tranquility of the place, the proximity to Verneuil-sur-Avre (very pretty town with all amenities). Our host Thierry was very good advice for the walks in the area, and very responsive to our requests.

A house full of charm, convenient and very well-located. A magical garden. Lots of things to do in and around the house. You should know that it is a rustic accommodation, so with its beams (some are a little low, beware of the big ones!), its Chinese decorations, its large fireplace, its cracking stairs... we love or we hate, but it's for me what looks like the house of happiness, or families with or without children can have fun and find themselves without a headache. The hosts are welcoming and kind, valuable advice. Anyway, we'll be back!

This is a very charming apartment which was very spacious and gave room for us to work, with an adequate kitchen that had everything we needed. The house has a rustic feel to it, which is natural given its age, and very nice character. The stay was very comfortable and we would return and stay again in a heartbeat.

We had a lovely stay in this comfortable and very large cottage. We particularly enjoyed its 3 bathrooms ,its many bedrooms and especially the very large living room. The possibility of having an extra child bed and also the billiards game room with the many children's games that made our 2-year-old grandson happy. The weather was very favorable to us on and so we were able to enjoy the barbecue and eat on the terrace. However, you have to think about bringing the barbecue utensils and providing charcoal. The outside is very pleasant with the small children's tractors and the slide and especially the chickens that come to visit us and which have fun for the children. There is space to park 3 or 4 cars without a problem. We loved walking around Dieppe and Veule les Roses which are less than 25 minutes away by car. In short, we were super happy with our stay.

Accommodation as expected. Very nice cottage in a quiet and tranquil location. Very friendly welcome from Carole and her husband. We highly recommend this rental.

We booked last minute with the kids for some peace and quiet. The house is immaculate…brilliantly equipped, with homely decor and everything you could need to make us feel at home. Didn’t have access to the pool so early in the year but it didn’t matter at all as there was so much provided for us all to do - bikes, ping pong, badminton etc. Francois and family were fantastic and made us feel very welcome. We’d recommend in a heartbeat and will do our best to get back in the summer.

Even nicer than shown in the photos! Very spacious, comfortable house with lots of privacy. On both the ground floor and on a high a nice quiet bedroom with a spacious private bathroom. We stayed there with a couple of friends and had plenty of privacy because everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom on their own floor. The shared stays are conveniently arranged. A wonderfully large dining kitchen with wood stove where everything from wine glasses to pans is present. Upstairs a spacious living room with French doors to a roof terrace with beautiful views. Nice, discreet hosts who had a nice attention on the kitchen table upon arrival. The region is simple and authentic, not tourists. Tourist attractions like Amiens or the booth are half an hour away. Recommended!

We enjoyed the area, Etretat, Le Havre, Yport etc. The house is a 15 min. drive from the seaside

We were absolutely delighted with Mathilde's place, which is of exceptional quality. The little house is very charming and very well decorated. The welcome from Mathilde was very warm and communication with her was always very fluid. The breakfasts offered by Mathilde are particularly delicious and hearty. We recommend this listing and Mathilde to anyone who wants to spend a few days in an exceptional place in Normandy.

Mathilde was such an amazing host, very responsive to all our query. Gave us tips on places to visit and eat. Mathilde even secured a table for us on a very short notice. The place was great, quiet and peaceful even if it’s just a short drive from Le Havre. All amenities listed is what you get. The breakfast was a blast, most of the foods are organically grown in their garden or sourced locally and prepared by Mathilde. (Thanks for the special request on the birthday cake for the wife) Mathilde was such a wonderful host and the place and the experience is just amazing. Erwin & Maria

Romuald is very responsive as well as being very welcoming. He is really at the service of these hosts and helps as much as he can. The place is great, renovated, there is room inside and outside Being in a peaceful place like this really allows you to disconnect. You can find him on the steps, he sells his own vegetable production and it's delicious… Thanks also to Lionel and his wife Thank you for everything and looking forward to coming back:)

We stayed with Nathalie for a week at Easter. The house is spacious for 2 families. It has a large dining area inside and out, a fireplace and two barbecue areas. A barn with a ping-pong table and table soccer is in the huge garden. The area invites you to go road cycling. A bakery and supermarket are available in neighboring villages. Nathalie is very friendly and was always available with advice. Rouen can be reached in 20 minutes by car and is definitely worth a visit (even several times).

Very nice quiet house with some possibilities to do something. Very good hospitality and the house was just as expected impeccable. I highly recommend it

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Stephanie and Nicholas' cottage. The cottage was extremely peaceful and quiet, with beautiful views. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and the cottage was spotlessly clean. Stephanie and Nicolas were extremely helpful hosts and very responsive to queries. We would recommend and would be happy to stay again :)
