Beachfront vacation rentals in Upper Normandy

The apartment is amazing with its sea view. It's very comfortable by its room spaces, and the sunshine makes it very bright all day long. We stayed with family and friends and everyone had a wonderful weekend.

The hostess was very friendly and accommodating and responded very quickly. The space was well equipped. There was even salt, pepper, olive oil and enough toilet paper. The bed was very comfortable. I was pleased about the flowers on the terrace. They needed some water. In 5 minutes you were on the beach, the location is quiet, perfect for the dogs.

A jewel near the sea! We were really happy with Brigitte’s place. It has Seaview, super nice little garden with Seaview as well and very well equipped with everything you need as a family of four ! The beds were comfy and the washing machine and dishwasher was a plus ! Valerie helped us to do the check-in and check out and was also very kind and helpful . We would love to come back if Brigitte would have us !

We had a great time at Cathy and Nicolas's place. The house is tastefully decorated, functional and very comfortable. A true haven of peace. The veranda is a real plus. The beach is 2 minutes walk and access to the different beaches of Normandy as well as museums are easy by car. We'll be happy to go back.

Juliette is a pleasant host. The house is in a very good location, quiet and the rooms are well arranged to leave everyone privacy! My favorite is the veranda for eating meals! I would highly recommend it🤩.

We had a lovely family weekend in this spacious apartment, with a beautiful view of the beach and the beautiful buildings of Houlgate. Everything you need is in the immediate vicinity (playground, shops, parking, train station, etc.) Very well equipped and well arranged. Clem the owner responds very quickly to any questions we may have. I will definitely be back!

The house is wonderful, it corresponds to the photos. You have to understand that it's a house with a history, the floor creaks, the cabinets don't close perfectly in some places, but these are all trifles compared to its charm and coziness. The beds are very comfortable, the bedding is of good quality, the kitchen has an oven and microwave, as well as a washing machine and dishwasher. This is convenient if you are traveling for a long time The terrace is beautiful, there is silence and a wonderful view. The pool is a separate plus, you have to walk to it, but in good weather it's not a problem We will be happy to come again if such a case arises. The village itself is quiet and beautiful, the beach is wide with a playground for children. Only positive impressions of the trip

Perfectly located accommodation, minutes from the beach on foot. The sea view is lovely. The accommodation is clean, well arranged and with all the necessities (there is even a booster seat and a step-stool for children!). Thanks to Audrey for her smile and hosting us. We had a lovely stay!

At Christophe's, Normandy hospitality has its champion! Barely through the door: self-service lollipops, glass of friendship with a homemade knob, farmer's cider in tasting that makes the seagulls sing in choir. The tone is set: simplicity, generosity, and tailor-made advice. In 3 days, our host guided us and provided us with the good places: historic walk in Caen, breath of fresh air at the Orne estuary, chills at the Grand Bunker Museum, go-karting tour, dinner at the Oyat, ultra fresh fish and shellfish at unbeatable prices at the morning auction. The accommodation is impeccable: spacious, perfect bedding, heated indoor pool as advertised. And throughout the stay, little touches that I keep secret to preserve the surprise... In short: a golden host, a top apartment and a concentrate of Norman generosity. We leave with a smile, with only one idea: to come back!

Very nice environment, pool and hot tub at a good temperature. The place is as described and the flowers and candy for our arrival are a nice plus. The only downside, if I may, would be a parasol for the garden furniture. Thanks to Monika, I would highly recommend this place and will gladly return

We were beyond impressed with Dany and Elodie's Airbnb. Their self-contained flat is simple and clean while also catering for every circumstance you may need in your own home. We were happy to see a secure, private decent sized garden for us to use. After a long day out exploring it was an added bonus to relax in the hot tub. Thank you both for aiding in a memory of our lovely little French holiday. We would love to come back again in the future to do all the things we didn't get to do in your beautiful part of the world.

The space was perfectly as advertised and very clean upon arrival. The host was responsive, which is always reassuring. The location is ideal, a few minutes walk from the sea. The value for the money is great. All amenities were present and in very good condition. We highly recommend this place, especially for people traveling with a dog: the garden is well enclosed, which was a real plus for us. No worries during our stay, we'll be back with pleasure!

We had a great time with family and friends. The house was impeccable (and as a housekeeper I know what I'm talking about🤭) Everything was ready when we arrived, the house is super well-equipped, we all felt very very good there. The sea view is heavenly, full of activities to do in the vicinity. Great communication with Olivier, who was always very responsive to messages. We hope to be able to go back already 🤭

The accommodation is true to the photos and description. Clean accommodation. The instructions provided by hosts are clear. Communication is seamless. The place is quiet and near the sea. Only small downside: The pipe odors in the shower room are a little persistent.

Small but functional and perfectly located. Aurélie welcomed us in person which is very nice. At your disposal is a complete binder of recommendations, addresses, places to visit, restaurants, useful numbers... The terrace/garden is sunny and pleasant, the view from the master bedroom is unobstructed and you can even see the sea! The dining area in the kitchen is a little cramped for 3 adults but the kitchen is well equipped as well as the rest of the accommodation. A great place for a short stay in the heart of Mers-les-Bains.

This house, both bright and beautifully decorated, offered us a pleasant stay with family. We were able to have our meals on the terrace as the weather was so nice with a sea view, and enjoyed the warmth of the wood stove in the evening. (Consider buying wood from the store next door or picking it up on the beach) Very good stay. Everything is designed to make you feel good.

Very pleasant accommodation, clean with everything you need to have a good time. It is 300 m from the pebble and sand beach, a peaceful setting and a quiet location. Glad our Roulfi enjoyed the lawn and walks as well. And a highly responsive Hostess. We'll be happy to go back!

Exceptional stay in a house where nothing was missing! Located just a short walk to the beach, and close to other major cities, we were able to recharge in a beautiful, peaceful setting and close to museums and historical sites in the area! Lots of kitchen utensils, comfortable bedding, and a big thank you to Sandrine who we couldn't meet on arrival, but with whom we were still able to communicate via phone and who was always very responsive. We highly recommend it and will come back sometime with great pleasure! Thank you for the welcome gifts finally!!! We look forward to welcoming you!
