Located next to our home, this is a separate suite and bathroom which has TV, bar fridge, some kitchenette amenities and a heater. Great overnight location after work commitments, a family occasion or for a weekend away. This is a very quiet location with a short drive or ten-minute walk to Silverstream Village, Supermarket, Railway Station, restaurants and a local Gastro pub.

'The Cottage', is also the perfect location for access to the Rimutaka Incline Trail and Aston Norwood Gardens & Cafe. It is a modern two-bedroomed cottage, which could accommodate up to four guests. Enjoy our 1 bedroom house that is 5 min drive from the Upper Hutt city centre with quick access to the motorway to Wellington City. Open plan full kitchen, dining room and lounge with everything you would need to cook a meal. Separate bedroom with a new queen bed. If required a single bed can be added to the lounge to provide extra guest. Bathroom with new shower, toilet and vanity. Washing machine and dryer in the bathroom and a clothes line. Off street parking for two cars. Pet friendly.

Train in Upper Hutt

Tiny House Train-Eco stay

Thank you for renting the train as this really helps me. The train runs on solar power, all your water is spring water and is a great example of up cycling and recycling. The tiny house train is located on a 10 acre/4.2 hectare organic blueberry farm and was restored in 2018 and turned into a tiny house in May 2019. There is a cozy log burner plus electric heater and the TV is a smart TV and has Netflix supplied . Wifi is Starlink with laptop friendly kitchen table. Self checkin after 2pm.

A beautiful home away from home. We found it very spacious & roomy. Large bedrooms & large main bathroom upstairs. Very well equipped kitchen for any cooking needs. The outdoor area was lovely with a pool & outdoor seating with nice established gardens very peaceful. Easy to access once we arrived & close to everything like a bakery, NW supermarket, Upper Hutt town centre etc. I would definitely recommend this house to any family it was fantastic & we had a really nice time there. If you are looking for somewhere nice, peaceful and private to stay, yet close to Central Upper Hutt, then this is the place for you!! From the minute I pulled into the driveway, Sues unit was a welcoming retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. Perfectly positioned for my stay, it was a short 10-minute drive into the centre of Upper Hutt, and a quick 45-minute drive over the Rimutakas to the beautiful Wairarapa to see my family and friend's. The unit was immaculately presented, very clean and tidy. Sue had left a few little thoughtful touches for me on my arrival, which I really appreciated, and the minute I walked in the door I felt right at home! You can see the love and care she puts into the whole experience of your stay, and as a host she was very easy to communicate with and chat too. I had the most enjoyable experience staying here and highly recommend it to others, I will definitely be returning on my next trip back to Upper Hutt. Thanks SUE !!
