Oscar's by the Sea - Victorian period property

MartinRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Excellent accommodation for our family of 7 with plenty of space and spare bedrooms with good local amenities and a beach close by. Only setback was the closure of the free public car park close by on the bank holiday which led to searches for space as close to the house as possible. This didn’t change our view of this excellent accommodation

Explore the South West Coast Path from This Cosy Cottage

StephenRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We stayed at Annie’s place for two nights while we were hiking part of the South West Coast Path with our two border collies. We were able to hike in off the path and then get back onto the path the next day fairly easily. The accommodation was lovely, plenty of space and everything we needed to prepare our meals. Very comfortable and peaceful which meant two good nights of sleep. The spa was excellent and an added bonus for tired legs. We were given good directions to get to the local village (Hartland) and were able to walk there for a great dinner at a local pub. I highly recommend Annie as a host!

Coedfa House, Betws Y Coed, Snowdonia National Pk

TanyaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had a fantastic stay at Coedfa House! Our group included five adults, a toddler, and three dogs, and the house suited us perfectly. The property is absolutely stunning—from the beautifully maintained gardens to the elegant and thoughtfully chosen furnishings. The photos truly don’t do it justice. It’s clear that Beth has poured a great deal of care and attention into creating a luxurious and welcoming space. The rooms are exceptionally spacious, with comfortable beds and all the essentials you could possibly need. A special highlight for us was the selection of toys available for our three-year-old, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected bonus. Access to the swimming pool and gym at The Waterloo Hotel was another fantastic perk. The location is ideal, tucked away up a quiet hill for peace and privacy, yet just a 15-minute walk from the town centre. The town offers a variety of restaurants and Swallow Falls is also just a 10-minute away. We would recommend staying!

Halcyon, beautiful two bed apartment.

GavinRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Julie and Bruce are perfect hosts. Albeit self check in Julie arrived with fresh flowers, milk and cookies, as well as a supply of parking permits. A warm and friendly welcome. The flat exceeded all our expectations. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. We immediately felt at home. The surrounding area was quiet and peaceful and in May the abundant trees looked amazing with their new foliage. On street parking was no issue, with two cars in our group we always managed to find a spot. However daily permits are required at a cost of £3 a day per car. Still much cheaper than parking in the town centre. Be warned, the parking wardens are on it. The city centre/seafront is a pleasant 55 minute walk through Preston Park and public transport links are nearby. The gradients are there but not as steep as some of Brightons more mountainous hills. All in all for us the flat and its location were ideal and we would highly recommend it and will definitely use again. Thank you.

The Holiday Hoose

AnnieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had the BEST experience staying here! They were so amazing to work with us due to unexpected travel mishaps. Tracey was super responsive and understanding. We had 6 adults traveling with us. The flat was so quaint and comfortable and easily fit our needs. Steven met us there upon arrival and was so helpful in showing us around the flat and explaining how everything worked. The welcome basket with snacks was awesome after a long day of traveling. The hot tub was just what we needed after long days of busy sightseeing! The scenery is just beautiful and it is just a stones throw from the beach. The train station is a quick 3 min walk which was just perfect! We will definitely stay here again and will tell everyone we know about this little gem!

Nathan and Toby kept us informed every step of the way. The caravan was in a lovely central location and was extremely clean upon arrival. You could smell how freshly clean the caravan which was very pleasant. Nathan and Toby communicated with us to enable us to find the caravan with no problems and ensured that we had managed to find it and were happy with our stay. They were readily available should we need them. Thankfully we didn’t as we had everything we could possibly need. Thank you both for a very enjoyable stay. We had a very comfortable stay and will be back in the future.

A gem of a place which we hope to be able to visit again. It had everything we needed and very clean. Great location for walking/cycling. Over 2 days , we walked to Woodhall Spa and cycled to Lincoln. Thanks for the cakes, milk and homemade jam. The jam went well on our scones which , with the cakes , helped with the walking/cycling above ! We also had an enjoyable meal at the local pub just down the road. Many thanks.
