Vacation rentals in Union Island

If you are looking for a sign to book...this is it! Prospect House was the perfect setting for our weekend getaway. From the moment we booked, Wendy was very helpful and warm, upon arrival our stay was made extra special by the addition of thoughtful touches for the birthday celebration, including Happy Birthday decorations and a bottle of champagne. The room was tastefully decorated with modern finishes, providing everything we needed. It was clean, spacious, and felt very homely. Each morning, we enjoyed breathtaking views during breakfast and had delightful conversations with our host, Dominic, who was always eager to assist with anything we needed. From relaxing in the pool or hammock to watching the garden and its abundant wildlife, every moment of our stay was enjoyable. We couldn't have asked for anything more.

Absolutely gorgeous setting in Carriacou. Waking up to the view of the ocean and the surrounding islands was out of this world. The house was stocked with anything we might need including a cooler, beach blanket, beach towels, bug spray, and the fridge had some goodies including some Jouvay chocolate. One thing to note- the house does not have AC and so it was difficult to sleep (we were here in early May so I imagine the summer would be even hotter). If AC was added, it would be more comfortable for guests (we live in the US though so AC is pretty standard for us). The plunge pool helped to cool down. What an absolute gem of a place and Matthew and Anne were so quick to respond with anything we needed. Paradise Beach is absolutely gorgeous and we can’t wait to come back. We loved Beach Bums!!! ❤️

Absolutely beautiful private house and land. Apartment studio was perfect for us. We loved waking up to the sun rising over the water. The dock was romantic to eat breakfast in the morning. The goats were super sweet and the smells from all the flowers was intoxicating. We would definitely rent here again.

Peaceful and Adventurous!! My husband and I stayed at the Gum Tree House in early March. It was the most peaceful place we have been in years. Upon arrival at carriacou airport, Dominic met us. Flying over the ferry is my preference.Dominic took us to the Police Station for drivers license then to rental of 4x4 vehicle, and escorted us to the house. The road is rough in one spot but you get use to it. Dominic suggested a reservation at around House which was amazing food and close by. The hiking trail to High North Peak is walking distance as is Anse La Roche beach!! The hike took us about an hour and a half round trip. We left early morning before the sun got hot) and spent about 20 minutes enjoying the view on top. The hike to the beach was great!! It was about 20 minutes down. Be sure to catch Tim’s place for an amazing lobster meal. Rent a vehicle to explore. The service Dominic provided was top notch and truly made the vacation experience. Thank you Dominic!!!

Another great stay while working at the marina. Hosts are friendly, flexible, and responsive. We’ll be back.

I recommend staying at Roberto’s place on Canouan. It is very affordable and centrally located. He also offers experiences and food so staying there is convenient. He is very proactive and communicative.

Hurricane Beryl hit Carriacou while we were there. The entire island is devastated. Hosts Scott & Reniza went above & beyond to keep us safe and provided alternative lodging when their place was storm damaged. Good people. We pray for them & all the people in Carriacou.

The place has an amazing view of Ashton Valley and the seaside. Absolutely beautiful. The unit is a bit out of the way so I would recommend asking for the number of a local taxi. There is a bus in Ashton that can take you to Clifton, and as it is a small island taxi fares are not much. The people are very helpful. If you walk to Ashton it is about 10-15 minutes downhill. Chatham Bay is about 20-25 minute walk. The unit itself can fit two people and is very comfortable. There is no AC, but the fan is very good and there is a decent breeze blowing towards the building to help cool it off, so there was no issues sleeping. Just a note: the road to Chatham Bay is a rough dirt road so confirm if a taxi can take you there. It is a beautiful beach with a nice resort. Overall, I enjoyed the stay and would recommend this place.

Comfortable clean cute suite. Plenty of room for two people. AC works great. As a host Roseman is amazing! He gave us a tour of the island when we got there to give us the lay of the land. He had great advice for what to see, what to do, where to eat. He even worked with our Airbnb host from Canouan to get something we left behind sent on the ferry to Union Island! Highly recommend Roseman’s place.
