I really enjoyed my stay at Karibu Apartments. It was very easy for me to settle in to the space. It is located very close to the main road just about a 30 second walk. I was able to walk to get something to eat, buy fruits and get to the beach (a solid 5-8 minute relaxing walk through the community). It was a big plus to have your own pool in case you didn’t want to go to the beachside. Patrick was amazing. He made sure that I knew how to get around to things that I wanted to see. He also was very prompt in responding to my questions prior to and during my stay. Very professional, which allowed me to focus on enjoying the space and Kiwengwa! I would easily stay at Karibu Apartments again.

Lovingly decorated and really well maintained house super close to the beach. We had a room downstairs where 3 rooms share a kitchen. There are also 2 self-contained apartments in the same building. Our room was really nice with a super big bathroom. Sophia, the housekeeper, kept it always clean with fresh sheets a d towels. Talha, the property’s manageress, is incredibly helpful and kind plus super funny 😊 We had a wonderful time staying with her! Definitely good value for money 👍🏻 Highly recommended!

A gem of a place, with access to a great resort with really good facilities, all you need to relax and enjoy the paradise‘Zanzibar’. We had a wonderful three days in Kendwa, the apartment was spotless, well equipped with a great views of the sea, I have already recommended this apartment and would definitely stay there again.

very hard to find. the best is if you put feza school in to google maps. the apartment is around the corner. otherwise the apartment is very nice and clean. we also loved the pool. hope to come back one day

We stayed for 5 weeks (!) at Culture & Alessandra's place and we absolutely LOVED it. Although we booked another apartment, we were really happy with the one we got. The location is phenomenal, as it is literally less than 2 minutes walking to the beach. Yet it feels very private because the house is on a dead-end street. The apartment is simple, but fully equipped. We felt right at home. Alessandra is truly the very best and sweetest host you could wish for. She helped us a lot with renting a motorcycle, making restaurant reservations and even took us to the hospital when (unfortunately) needed. Their dog Bantu often walked with us to the beach or came to lay with us on the porch, so cozy! We did have some problems with the AC - we couldn't get the room cooler than 26 degrees and it often failed because of power cuts (a general electricity problem in Zanzibar). Funny enough, 5 weeks still felt too short, so we hope to come back and then we will definitely stay here again.

Our stay in Paje was unforgettable. Just a 7-minute walk from the beach, the home offered peace and convenience. Airport pick-up and drop-off were smooth, and every morning began with a hearty breakfast of fresh fruit, fish, milk, eggs, nuts, and sourdough. Judith, our host, was fantastic—communication was easy, and she kindly recommended a nearby hospital when our daughter fell ill. The Balinese-inspired interiors were calming and beautiful, adding a special touch to our stay. Our daughters adored the bathtub and wouldn’t stop talking about it on the way home! The bedding was pure luxury, with pillows so soft you could melt in them. My wife and I spent peaceful afternoons by the pool, truly relaxed. This place was a dream, and we’ll definitely be back!
