The farm is now fully off Eskom power so load shedding is a distant memory.

Enjoy the serenity of nature on the edge of the Umgeni Valley. Conveniently placed less than 10 minutes away from Hilton Village. This is no normal cottage. Our Forest Falls Treehouse is built at the confluence of two streams. Perched amongst trees, birds are constant visitors while shy nyala often make an appearance. This self-catering cottage can be reached after a short walk in an indigenous forest down steep stairs built into a cliff face. Meals can be purchased through prior arrangements.

A charming , spacious, house in the secure Gowrie Village in Nottingham Rd. Cosy in winter with a wood burner in the lounge and another in the kitchen. It overlooks a field, is peaceful and quiet and yet close to the coffee shops and eating places. A home away from home we offer comfort. (It is not a modern build, as it is one of the first houses built in Gowrie Village) Kindly note, there are 2 outdoor cats on the property that are only around for food. The Aloe house is a completely solar powered house which will not be affected by the load shedding whatsoever. You have a spectacular view of the Malungane mountain from every room of the house with its ceiling to floor glass sliding doors. their is a large fire place in the main living room to make fires during those crisp winter nights. in winter the cows calve right outside the house which can be a great insight into the farm life. sunsets over the entire Drakensberg range.

We like to think that we have the best of both worlds here at Yellowoods! The benefits of farm life, yet easy access to cafes, restaurants, bicycles trails, farmers markets, golf courses and schools. Only 2kms off the N3, we are easily accessible and very easy to find. We are a working farm, so there will be ‘farm noise’ about and general day-to-day goings on! It is nestled in the trees next to the main house on Woodsong Farm, which is a small life-style farm where you are free to explore the surroundings.
