Nottingham Road vacation rentals

Visiting from the UK, Angela the host gave clear directions & gate entry info. On arrival we were greeted with a thatch roof rondawel in the most serene & private surroundings. Felt so tranquil & peaceful looking out over her beautiful garden. The rondawel has a lovely rustic feel & was spotless with the little touches of tea, coffee, sugar & milk plus some delicious biscuits & a dram of Sherry! There’s a fire pit to enjoy looking up at the vast African sky & a swimming pool to enjoy by day. Vervet monkeys were busy foraging & little duikers came to visit. We stayed here 4 times during our visit we enjoyed it so much. Angela gave us tips on places to visit & eat & was so friendly during our stays. We will definitely be back!

When spontanously looking for an accomodation in the Drakensberg, we stumbled over Emmas beautiful cottage. The road to this little cottage was a bit adventourous, but totally worth it. On the one hand you can go on the most amazing hikes close by and on the other hand relax at the lovely little cottage. Thanks to Emma we had a fantastic stay and can recommend staying here to a 100%.

My boyfriend and I stayed for a few days at the fisherman's cottage. It was so peaceful and private. The cottage was comfortable and cozy. The surrounding area was so beautiful and I spent a large part of my stay sitting on the veranda watching the birds and cows around the dam. Theo and Kevin were excellent hosts and were very responsive to any questions that I had. Thank you so much for the lovely stay. I will be recommending this cottage to my friends and family.

We booked Penny's place at the last minute and she was more than willing to assist us. The space is lovely, we enjoyed meals in the open plan kitchen with a view over the valley. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering. The shower was piping hot and clean which was superb on a rainy cold weekend. Full dstv bouquet allowed us to enjoy the UCI XCO races. All in all, an incredibly pleasant weekend. Thanks Penny.

Had a wonderful stay in a very well equipped cottage. The stairs to the loft are very steep. Perhaps a handrail on the side would make it easier and safer to get up and down. The location is awesome. Very peaceful, safe and secure. Would highly recommend staying here.

Thank you for sharing your place with us Steve. We had an amazing holiday. The peaceful surroundings and the Mearns dam made our stay more memorable. Steve was so helpful and assisted us throughout our trip. We appreciated all the free goodies that welcomed us into the cottage. We highly recommend your place and we will definitely visit again.

Paul & Jennifer's place is truely spectacular. The garden around the church are well maintained and beautiful. Thembani gave us a very warm welcome and the fire was already lit for us in the cosy lounge and even in the bedrooms the heaters were on to heat the rooms up for us. Dinner was delicious. The hole atmosphere was peaceful and very special. We were specially pleased that the venue was dog firendly and our 2 Schnauzers enjoyed the stay as much as we did. We can highly recommend this lovely place. It leaves a font memory.
