The train ride takes around 13 minutes. If however, you prefer to take a taxi, the taxi will take approximately 20 minutes (between $45 to $60 depending on traffic). Buses are your other option to travel around Sydney. There are several options and depending on where you would like to go, the bus stops are again only a short walk. Isabelle's place was an excellent location to stay for us - quiet yet near Randwick centre for food and eating out, close to the trams to get to central Sydney and to buses to get to beaches, yet sufficiently away from it all to be able to escape hustle and bustle when needed - wonderful place to stay and use as a base. Isabelle was also very responsive, and sorted a minor issue we had within the hour - can't say better than that. Also, Isabelle provided us with chairs to sit in the communal garden, and advised of the communal pool - both wonderful on a hot day Would happily recommend to others looking for a base to explore Sydney....be it the city and / or the beaches - and Randwick was a joy to visit

Place is quite good location and proximity to parks and transport superb, but can use a deep cleaning and thorough review before handing over to people staying there, we found the sofa super smelly and had to air and use air freshener constantly. There were also works done in the building that meant had lots of movement, machinery and noise going on since 7 am, would have appreciated to know this upfront and before checking in, we couldn’t rest properly :( Price is higher than avg so you expect these small details to be in place without asking.

David's place comes with no surprises and he is super responsive to any queries you may have. The location is excellent as the bus outside takes you to Bondi Junction in about 15 minutes - and from there the trains are super easy to take you around Sydney; or just get out and walk, shop and explore. Alternative, turn left (East) out the door and walk down the hill for 10 minutes to famed Bondi beach - or even talk the sea walk along the shore to other beaches or to take in the ocean and scenery. There are numerous restaurants, cafe's and grocery shopping a few minutes nearby (Fruitology is excellent, as is the TinPin bakery). One suggestion, is a house book describing some of the above for new guests and how to work some of the very modern devices in the apartment.

The place is a lot bigger than expected. A great courtyard and spacious living kitchen area. Beds were comfy and shower pressure was good. Bathroom on the smaller side but functional for what you need. Location is great.

We had a friend visiting from the USA and staying at Tia's place was the best decision we made of having a fantastic experience! One of the biggest highlights was how close it was to Waterloo Metro Station but still in a peaceful location. The train station was just a 2-minute walk away and navigating around was easy. The place itself was clean, cozy, and exactly as described in the listing. The host was very responsive and provided clear instructions for check-in and local tips. If you're looking for a place that makes exploring Sydney stress-free, this is it. I’d definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely stay in this fabulous apartment over Christmas and New Year. The apartment is spotless, bright and spacious, and beautifully furnished. It is in a great location, a short walk to the beach in Newport and close to good coffee shops and restaurants. Mia is an excellent host, very responsive to any queries we had and gave us clear and detailed information about check-in process and local amenities. Lots of free parking spaces in streets so parking is no problem. I would highly recommend staying here and hope to be back next year for another two week stay.

An absolute treat to get to stay at Anna’s beautiful place overlooking Bondi Beach! My husband and I loved the location and getting to come home from full days of exploring Bondi, Bronte and Coogee beaches and a couple of day trips into the city and the Blue Mountains. Anna was very responsive to any questions we had, and we had everything we needed for our stay. Although the lighting in the bathroom and bedroom by the small mirror were dim overhead lights (not the best for getting ready), we really didn’t mind it and would stay here again in a heartbeat! Loved the plants and small garden on her balcony too. Great kitchen, comfortable living space, good shower pressure & hot water, comfortable bed, and the best views of the ocean! Thank you, Anna! :)

Jenny’s place is in an excellent, walkable location to all types of transportation and some great tourist sites. We absolutely loved the central location of this apartment. It is light and airy, well equipped and just as pictured. Elisabeth was a wonderful host who always replied quickly to our questions and did her best to allow for an early check-in as our flight from Austria arrived very early in the morning. If you are sensitive to noise, you might want to think twice about renting this apartment though. Garbage disposal and other trucks can be heard, even with windows closed, as early as 5 am. Add to this the fact that the next-door neighbour seems to be talking on the phone loudly at all times of day and night and on Friday and Saturday nights street noise can get quite loud. If you're not a sound sleeper, this might be somewhat challenging. All in all, a perfect place to stay centrally in Manly when you have no problem with noise.

I really enjoyed staying here. Great location, walking distance to Lyric Theatre where we saw MJ the musical which I’d also highly recommend! Easy to get to major points around Sydney.
