This is a great property in a really well located village, convenient for people wanting to walk either the Pennine Way or trace the route of the Kinder Trespass. The village has lots going on for its size, with shops, pubs and restaurant. The property itself is spacious and well- laid out - each bedroom was big, and the master bedroom is huge! Downstairs there is a large lounge, dining room and kitchen with everything you might need. Very good place to stay.

The Barn Gowlands Farm

NadiaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Perfect spacious cottage with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Everything as described. The host was very responsive and helpful. Very close to York or nearby towns. One tiny fault: when in the garden or opening the windows, be prepared to be exposed to some noise from passing cars and countryside smells:) But the sunset was worth it!

Elegant Home In Yorkshire: free parking & wifi.

AnumRating, 5 stars1 month ago
My entire family absolutely loved this place! The house is spacious & modern. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked, and there was plenty of closet space in each bedroom, making it perfect for a comfortable stay. The living area was a highlight, with incredibly cozy couches and a huge TV that made relaxing even better. Having a bathroom on each floor was a fantastic convenience- especially for my mom & toddler. Dani was a wonderful host—warm, courteous, and incredibly thoughtful. She even stocked the fridge with milk and bread, which was such a kind and hospitable gesture. Overall, I highly recommend this place! The photos don’t do it justice—it’s even better in person! If ever I am in Leeds again, I will be staying here.

Stunning Accommodation surrounded by Countryside

JaneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Had a lovely stay in Ripon. The house was just as described, very clean and in a great location, within easy walking distance of the market square, and also for walks along the river. We had no problems parking - only once having to park around the corner rather than outside the property. Would recommend.

A narrow cobbled street is lined with historic timber-framed buildings, featuring charming shopfronts. Signs for local businesses hang from the structures, while visitors stroll along the walkway. The area captures the essence of York's medieval architecture and vibrant atmosphere.

Beautiful 2-Bed Home Close to the Centre of York

VondaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Steven is an amazing person and has put a lot of heart and soul into refurbishing this place. He went above and beyond to help me, knowing I'm recovering from surgeries. I stayed there for over 5 months, so things I should mention: The beds are Queen sized, not King. Unfortunate, since that's the main reason I rented this flat. They are very firm, for those who are curious. The lock on the back door to the shed with the washing machine often gets stuck. This is due to temperature change. Those from the US should be aware that the washer/dryer units here are completely different than what we are used to. It takes over 2 hours to wash a small load, and can take over 6 hours to dry it. And even then, you may have to hang them to finish. The refrigerator is what we'd call dorm room sized, not apartment sized. There is a separate freezer. Parking is super expensive in York, but everything is within walking distance, and there is grocery and food delivery. Very quick and easy.

The Lodge in Marsden

George JamesRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Overall had a lovely stay, had only one extremely minor issues with the dishwasher, but was honestly no problem at all (Hence the 5 stars!). Nice and private, rarely if ever bothered by passers by or ramblers. Nice amenities in the lodge, and hot tub was lovely. Parking was a little tight, but nice to have our own space while visiting. Honestly had a fab stay!

Character 5 bedroom property

If you’re staying in Pocklington then this house is fantastic. Huge! Clean! Warm and cosy. All the mod cons. Really really exceeded our expectations. It’s just a couple of minutes walk from Market Place. Only comment is that maybe there should be fans in all the bathrooms…otherwise, it’s like Dr. Who’s Tardis…way bigger than you think. Loved it.
