Great place and friendly host . They’ve provided free snacks and drinks. They’ve given us free car ride to the nearest station. Definitely would recommend this place for a peaceful stay.

The house was wonderful! It was clean and beautiful. All of the amenities were fantastic and the host responded promptly. She worked with us to allow us to check in early to the AirBnB. She has also been very helpful in helping us retrieve an item we left behind.

Gorgeous location and warm generous hosts! We enjoyed our stay in the large traditional home where we played mahjong and go by the fire, but what sets this place apart is the hospitality of the hosts. They offer complimentary bicycles and local treats that allowed us to savor the best of Miyama. We will dream about the delicious food prepared lovingly at the restaurant next door, apart from the idyllic landscape it will be the reason we return.

Jun's apartment is wonderfully located, near the Gingakuji but far enough from the tourist streets to be extremely quiet and restful. He was a wonderful host and staying here was a great pleasure.

This place is stylish, spacious, and well located. The area is calm but very well connected, especially with buses. You’ll find supermarkets, drugstores, and convenience stores just a few minutes away on foot. We had a wonderful time here. The kitchen setup makes it easy to prepare simple meals.

May was terrific. If you want to live like a local in a high-end apartment, this place is it. Beautifully decorated. No shoes. Proper heated bathtub. 4 floor walkup. Not a place for big suitcases as staircase is very narrow by USA standards but spacious in the rooms with large closets. The tatami bedroom is lovely. But for those who want a western bed, the 2 small singles with very firm mattresses are an alternative.

A wonderful and clean apartment and a very welcoming landlady. The apartment has everything you need and offered more than enough space for a relaxing stay. It's in a good location so that quit a lot of hot spots can be reached by walking. Sumi provided me with information before my trip and was always available. During my stay, she also gave me tips and recommendations for sights and restaurants, and told me a bit about the area.

It was a great stay! Beautiful view from the window, but it is obstructed by an electric pole. A bit dark to go up our room during night time, but it was safe!

Ken had the best property in all the bnb’s I stayed in Japan He was very proactive on messages and even came to meet us when we checked in He was always available with all our queries The bnb had everything what any hotel has and more He’s very good in English as well so it was easy to communicate Easy and early check in , we got our bnb at 1 pm when usually it’s 3 pm in Japan He was OK with keeping our luggage even after check out Now the BNB is absolutely stunning , the photos don’t do it much justice The lake in the front is to die for The price ken is giving the bnb is worth every penny Stayed 3 nights wish to have stayed more Ken is a complete gentleman and a kind man Would love to stay here in the future and would recommend it to everyone with their eyes closed BEST BNB STAY EVER Thank you Ken

It's so rare to stay in such a good hotel at such an affordable price!Although this was my first homestay experience, it left me with a very good impression!The house is very clean and tidy, and there is a small yard that has been beautifully renovated by the Host (´▽ ｀) The Host is very nice, very kind, very enthusiastic, and very sincere!I met some really good friends at the hotel these days, and everyone was very nice and warm. I was very happy every day for the four nights I🥺 stayed.🥰 Although it was a solo trip, I didn't feel lonely in a foreign country (̀⌄ ́). Every day when I came back from playing outside, it was like coming home ~ Thank you for taking care of these days! This is an excellent place to stay with a comfortable bed and thoughtful furnishings. Sumi is an excellent host who provides so much useful information and is always willing to help. She even dropped me at Kyoto station after I checked out. I loved the view from the window and the fact that this place is in a quiet neighbourhood but close by to many amenities and restaurants. Perfect host and stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Kyoto! The place was spotless, comfortable, and very convenient—located in a great area that made it easy to explore the city. Our host, Ka, was incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the stay, which made everything even smoother. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Kyoto!

Lovely place to stay - clean, big, and very well equipped!

Nicely designed building. Room is tight but cozy. Toilet has heater which is extremely useful in winter. Need to walk a fair distance to the closest train stations.

This accommodation is perfectly located, walking distance from Kyoto station. plenty of food and drinks in the area. plenty of space in the apartment for a little family.
