Very nice Hostel ! I would definitely come back !!

This place is just perfect for a trip away from Kyoto! The hostel is so tidy and clean and comfy. We received an immediate message upon booking to confirm our plans with check-in details. The staff were very sweet, helpful, and friendly and this was an excellent location in a quieter part of the city – across the river and away from the crowds and perfect to still get to be in Arashiyama. The hostel is walkable to the onsen and provides a couple for a discount for entry!

On the day of check-in, nana is very clear about the restaurants and nearby attractions near the homestay, the room is very clean, and I will have the opportunity to stay again!

This is a hostel but not like any hostel in USA. So clean, private, safe, and comfortable. Wang greeted us and made wonderful recommendations so we went to he Monkey Park (WOW) amazing views in their habitat and views, then Hot Springs and Bamboo forest all within walking distance. Ate and drank and local places recommended that we would never have found. Next day - took Uber to Golden Temple. Such a short stay but did so much. Thank you Mulan and Wang! Highly recommend.

Especially clean and comfortable, especially the shower room and bathroom are very clean, the surrounding transportation is also relatively convenient, the front desk staff are super cute and enthusiastic, I like it ~

The room was described accurately. It certainly was a great value for the price. The hostel was clean and quiet; check in and out were simple. Can't complain about what we recieved for the price. Great place for our short stay.

The interior and facilities are very clean, the toilet and bathroom are separate but shared and very clean. If I have a chance, I might choose this place again.

This is so worth it as a spot for staying a decent amount of time. Walking downstairs into the cafe every morning and being welcomed by the staff was homely and warm, and I loved the simple tasty menu so much I kept eating food at the cafe instead of going out. The tatami is comfy on the feet and whilst the bed is thin, it wasnt disruptive in my sleep more than the others in the room snoring. Walking to the river close to the place is easy and a brilliant way to have a day off on your travels.

LaCasa is very close to Kyoto Station. Easy check in. The place is clean and was surprised with the cleanliness of the bathrooms and toilets for a hostel. We didn’t need to wait for our turn in using the bathroom/toilets as there are also toilet on the 2nd flr. The Laundry area is also a plus! We will definitely come back here when we get the chance to go back to Kyoto. Highly recommended!

The night before my spontaneous decision to visit Kyoto, I was lucky enough to find Masa's hostel online. When I arrived, I was greeted by Masa himself, who is indeed handsome and has such a warm, sunny smile.The place looks exactly like the photos, and my little 'wooden cabin' bed space had soft, welcoming lights waiting for me. Everything is incredibly clean and tidy, and the quiet, calming music playing in the common areas immediately helped me relax and feel at peace. Since it was Golden Week in Japan, I couldn't find any other accommodation through the usual apps. Masa was incredibly kind and patient, I'm so grateful for his help. My brief 2-day trip was definitely not enough time to fully explore Kyoto. Staying here feels truly 'Kyoto'. Taking the bus to an area without a subway station is how you can really experience the local life and spirit of the city. Thank you, Masa!

Ace is very friendly, always ready to help you if needed, the cleaner is nice, smiling. It was really nice. Everything is very clean, the bedding is comfortable. There are massage seats in the living room. It's very well located in Kyoto. You can walk to the station. There is a subway about 3 minutes walk away. A museum, a temple 10 minutes away. I would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for 4 nights in the female dormitory. I loved the place, surrounded by green fields, mountains and it was quiet and had a great weather to walk around. It was a bit far from the station (Omi-Maiko Station) like 15-20 minutes walk. There are not a lot to do around, but it was easy to take the train to Nara and Kyoto. I loved the hostel, it had everything I need. It has a restaurant in the first floor. They do sell snacks/food in the reception. I recommend staying here if you like the countryside vibes.

I can't say anything, it's "perfect". Masa-san is someone that is very attentive to his guests. what caught me out of guard is, the line of those novels in the lobby! I read 1 book in 1 day when I stayed back since my legs hurt :") thank you for providing good books, thank you for providing the best box room! (it's my very first time to have a hostel like too, so to be able to meet kind people is really is something for me. I hope I can meet them again :)) ). uhh, what else? pristine places, rules that are very considerate and all of the amenities also provided too, just be mindful to use it yaa guys, use it wisely<3. and for Masa-san. I hope I can visit Kyoto and stay at your place again! maybe this Autumn? or next year's Cherry Blossom? in the end, I would like to say thank you so Masa-san, and I hope I'm not a burden within my stay! This place made my heart full and I left my heart here!.. Arigatou gozaimasu & Sayonara..

This is definitely the first choice in kyoto, which can be preferred as a Capsule Hotel. The helpful team really gives a lot for your money with its spacious capsule rooms terrace and common areas, and most importantly, this is especially in Kyoto, close to everywhere with a magnificent location! Arigatoo!❤️

This hostel is closed to the Kyoto Imperial Park and is also easy to find. The receptionist is very kind and told me everything I need to know. The bed is very stable and doesn’t make noises like some other hostels. The only problem is my bed is on the third floor and I need to use the bathroom at the second floor. But the hostel is still worth having a five star score. I hope I could stay longer next time.
