Vacation rentals with beach access in Ukunda

it was a beautiful holiday in a lovely and well furnished apartment. with a view of the ocean by day and the sound of waves by night. we really enjoyed joeys house and it was very convenient to have a restaurant next door. everyone was very friendly and we had a great and relaxing time. thanks!

Great place to stay in Diani. 10 mins walk to the beach, apartment is in the building with security. No strangers are coming inside the property. Apartment is very nice, a lot of space and everything is equipped. Housekeeping is available. Air conditioning in every room. Although there might be a power shortage sometimes, however I think this was a general issue of the town. Pool is great, a little bit warm :D Communication with owner is amazing, very helpful. We receive a guide with instructions and useful information. All requests were completed in a very fast way and host is very polite and nice. Do not recommend the restaurant upstairs, but there are plenty of options in the town. Must say that the driveway to the building is harsh, road is not built there. Car was okay, but a little bit hard in tuktuk. I would recommend the apartment, very cozy, big and close to the Bach. Good standard for the price.

We had a great stay at the property and suitable for little children. Rachel the housekeeper welcomed us and came daily, the property had everything we needed for a long week end stay. The beach was a few meters from the house with an Askari (guard) on the gate and an Askari on the main gate so you felt safe. The pool is wonderful just what was needed to cool off in the heat. We chose to have a chef, John, who bought all the groceries and fish and prepared everything requested even during a power cut he produced our evening meal. Would definitely recommend this place.

It rained the whole time we were in diani, but the aesthetic and how comfortable the house was made it worth the stay. They also communicated timely. We appreciated how kind the housekeeper was.

This is a wonderful house, beautiful, in a great compound with access to the beach and a great location. Ilya and Margaret and extremely helpful, nice and accommodating. The house has everything one may need, it is spacious and the rooms are very comfortable. It is the second time we stay at Ilya's house and will definitely not be the last one! Super recommended :)

The villa is beautiful and well-located, with easy access to Galu and Diani beaches. While walkable, we recommend using a tuktuk, especially at night as the road is unlit. It's also close to excellent restaurants and bars. The pool is spacious and cleaned daily by the groundskeeper. Although the filtration system is off in the afternoons for environmental reasons, it didn’t bother us. The master bedroom’s Jacuzzi was a perfect addition for relaxation. We loved dining outdoors, especially for breakfast. Note that the two villas are side by side, so noise from neighbors can affect your experience. We were lucky to have no neighbors until our last two nights. The recommended Chef, Nathan was fantastic, planed everything in advance. The staff were accommodating, and a minor lost item issue was quickly resolved by the manager. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend the villa for couples or small families. With just the two of us, the space felt more than enough.

The apartment is located in a peaceful neighborhood. As mentioned, there is another family living on the compound, but the compound is big and nicely divided by trees, so there is full privacy plus the family is super silent, so I didn't even know they are there. Nice green garden all around the house. The house itself is nicely decorated, kitchen more than perfectly equiped, big fridge. I especially liked the outside verandah with a wooden bar and wooden chairs to have my afternoon cup of tea. All the place is perfectly clean, host extremely nice. What to ask more for? Recommended kabisa kabisa !!!

Wonderful stay. One of it’s kind. Worth every penny. Ken, our cook, prepared nothing but a variety of delicious meals. Josephine, the adorable, is a very unique lady with a heart of gold. Rachelle, the manager, made our stay very remarkable. As far as the guards, they went above and beyond at making sure we were safe and well cared for. This place is s gem, and if accepted back, we will definitely visit again. If ever up for sale, please let us know. My family would love to call that property home. Thank you so much for such great experience.

The Tamu house is beautiful: bright, tastefully furnished, with a truly charming outdoor area around the pool, surrounded by lush plants that create a relaxing atmosphere. It was a pleasure to spend time reading, gently carried by the breeze and the sunlight. Often, when you book a place, it doesn’t quite live up to the photos or your expectations, but in this case, the reality was even better. The stunning sea is just five minutes away, close enough to hear it in the distance. A sincere thank you to Oli for the warm welcome and helpfulness, and to the entire staff, especially Lydia, who was always attentive and available.

We really enjoyed our stay at MilaMax! It was like paradise. Very nice and helpful staff, and an excellent chef who cooked everything we wished for. Very beautiful home inside and out - we especially loved the pool area and the proximity to the beach. We also had a very nice massage at the end place. Can only recommend!

Anna was a great host and it was so lovely to have our chocolate Labrador join us and enjoy the location right by Galu Beach. Anna has 2 really cute ridgebacks who are super friendly and got along with our dog. The house was super cute and clean, and perfect for a couple with a dog. Walking distance from Salty Squid and close to a kit surfing school as well. It was slightly hot during the night, but Anna provided an extra fan which did wonders! Anna was a wonderful host and super friendly and helpful, Thank you for a great stay, we hope to be back soon :)

It’s 2 bedrooms apartment with comfortable beds. It’s very clean apartment and couple minutes a way from the beach. It’s has all the amenities I could as for such as utensils to cook and high speed internet. I’ll recommend anyone to rent. Thank you Maithya.

Nestled in a stunning location, it’s ideal for those seeking an authentic experience immersed in the local community, unlike the more private, tourist-oriented resort. The highlight was our host, Pam, whose warmth and responsiveness went above and beyond. When we forgot our phone chargers, she generously lent us her own. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Pam’s Place for travelers looking for great value and a genuine connection with the local culture.

My stay at this beachfront Airbnb in Diani was nothing short of spectacular! The location is perfect—just a 2-minute walk to the beach, making it incredibly easy to enjoy the soft white sand and turquoise waters at any time of the day. One of the most magical experiences was watching the morning sunrise from the property. The view was absolutely breathtaking as the golden rays reflected off the ocean, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Whether you’re sipping coffee on the balcony or taking an early walk along the shore, the sunrise here is unforgettable. The house itself is well-maintained, spacious, and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. The host was welcoming.

Faith is a kind and responsive host. I always choose to stay with her when I am in Diani as I know I can count on her to always be available. The place itself is in the best location at Blue Marlin and next to Salty Squid, but also with fully equipped amenities. I would recommend to anyone!

It was my second booking already! I felt absolutely like I am at home! I missed nothing! The housekeeping was on an agreement of both! We talked about when is it necessary and the housekeeping has been done 100%. The description on this page is exactly how it is! The beach, shopping center or a pub is only a short walk away! Das Apartment ist komplett so,wie beschrieben in der Anzeige. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.Der Pool und die Liegen top (es fehlte leider die Erklärung,welche Liegen zum Apartment gehören) . Die Nachbarn (fast alles ausländische Dauermieter) legen großen Wert auf Regeln und Ruhe. Deshalb für Reisen mit Kinder nicht sehr zu empfehlen. Ansonsten tolle Unterkunft und toller Gastgeber.Vielen Dank
