Sundial Cottage, Stunning 3Bed Cottage with Hottub

AngelaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Sundial is a beautiful cottage, central to Skelton. The cottage is comfortable and has the convenience of a downstairs and upstairs bathroom / shower and a separate utility room. I booked Sundial for the hot tub and this feature didn’t disappoint. A superb way of relaxing after a busy day. We visited Saltburn (walkable along the Cleveland way) and Whitby (I highly recommend the Park & Ride). Before coming home I drove to Marske-on-sea where my dogs and I enjoyed a gorgeous walk along the wide, open beach. Marske has a dog friendly cafe (The dog house) if any dog lovers are reading this review!

3 Railway Cottage Pickering , Hot Tub, Pets all'd

AndrewRating, 5 stars2 months ago
3 Railway Cottage is a fantastic base to explore the amazing beauty of North Yorkshire. The cottage is located a 20 minute walk from the centre of Pickering but is in a really quiet and private location. The only exception of course is the opportunity to wave at the heritage railway trains that pass at the back of the cottage a few times a day which is really amazing, especially if you wave from the comfort of the hot tub! I can’t recommend this location highly enough, it is a really comfortable and well equipped cottage in a fantastic location - what more could you ask for?

Charming farm based cottage with hot tub/sauna

JessicaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a fantastic stay here for 4 nights. It was beautifully clean and had everything and more we needed. Such lovely hosts, very responsive should you need them. Great location! Such an easy drive to a lot of places. We visited Whitby, Scarborough, Pickering, Thornton Le Dale and more! All under 1 hours drive away. Cottage is so homely and very welcoming 😊 Amazing that each room has their own en-suite. Beds are so comfy! Downstairs bedroom was great for us with someone in the party having mobility issues. Games room is a fabulous touch! Sauna and hot tub both very clean. Highly recommend to stay here. Thanks for a wonderful stay 🥰

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely holiday home which is in a stunning location overlooking Robin Hoods Bay. It really was an unbeatable location. Steve was a fantastic host, giving us all the information we needed about the property and location. He also left us some welcome extras in the fridge 😊 The property was clean and well presented, and the hot tub and snooker room were enjoyable extras. We would happily return to this beautiful, peaceful spot in the future.

We had the most beautiful stay — the cottage was peaceful, private, and instantly felt like home. Everything was spotless and smelt amazing, with such a lovely, calming vibe throughout. Excellent stay in Pickering, the house is exactly as described and more! Very well equipped and a real home from home. It is on one of the main roads but as others have said the thoughtful ear plugs made all the difference and we had no problem finding parking every day. What a lovely weekend away in a heritage British seaside destination. Wouldn’t have been the same experience without staying in Emma’s lovely little cottage. Truly beautiful place (scored a few points with my fair lady). Just right for us three. Still in love toilet flush system! Emma was an amazing host, regularly texting ahead of check in to ensure a smooth arrival. Emma also provided a lot of recommendations which influenced our weekend for the better! Will definitely be returning!

Cosy Cottage in Pretty Village With Parking

We had a lovely couple of nights stay at the little cottage. There was everything we needed. The butcher's opposite is clearly very popular and an excellent recommendation, we had a delicious breakfast bap and got some goodies to take home. Directly opposite the cottage is the start of a lovely walk into Whitby, we did take a taxi back though! Friendly local pub. Great location to explore the area. Walking distance to the train station if you wanted to explore that way. A lovely stay and would love to come back.

We have thoroughly enjoyed an all too brief, relaxing stay at Tarrs Yard. From entering the charming cottage, to leaving, one can't fail to be impressed by all that Lizzie and Andy have so stylishly created. The helpful, informative folder inside the cottage provides for guests' range of interests and enables visitors to capitalise on the hosts' wealth of knowledge and experience of the area. We can't wait to return and anticipate discovering more of what this area affords, whilst assured of a restful, peaceful property to daily return to. Thank you to you both for our introduction to North Yorkshire.

Judi’s cottage is perfect in every way. With high quality furnishings, it’s well presented, in excellent condition, spotlessly clean and in a very peaceful location. Whilst it’s close to the main house, the cottage has it’s own private entrance and garden space, with the hosts being very respectful of guest privacy. The gardens are amazing and a great place to unwind. The location of the cottage makes an ideal base for visiting the main attractions in North Yorkshire and beyond. We would be delighted to stay here again on our next visit to the area.

Excellent stay at The Piggery. Molly made sure we had all the info we needed prior to arriving. The place itself is beautiful! The weather was quite cold while we were there so we couldn't really make use of the stunning balcony with amazing views! I imagine it is brilliant in the summer. Plenty of shops in Sleight village within a 10/15 minute walk. Train station to get to Whitby is around a 20 minute walk from The Piggery.

Beautiful Yorkshire barn, peaceful location

JamesRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Fran and Andy were excellent hosts; friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The barn conversion has been completed to a high standard with modern fittings. It is spacious. The property was clean and tidy. It was quiet and peaceful. Although there is other accommodation close by, we were never disturbed. Their website (search for Green End Farm Cottages) is very helpful. Fran and Andy offer a selection of meals to buy and ahead of our stay we ordered for two evenings. Both meals were excellent with good-sized portions and quality ingredients. The accommodation was very dog friendly. The accommodation is also ‘bike friendly’. Andy was very helpful in describing some of the best local routes for cycling. The location is great for getting out with easy access to many paths to walk. There are several villages within walking distance, and many other attractions within a short drive. In summary, we highly recommend staying at Green End Farm Cottages. Thank you for a great stay.
