Joe is a wonderful host, friendly, helpful, welcoming & kind. He goes the extra mile, providing a variety of drinks, snacks & breakfast choices. His place is well -organized, super clean & very comfortable. The bedroom is very well-equipped, including a mini fridge. Super comfortable bed & large fluffy bath towels add to the luxurious feel of Joe's place. Joe has considered every aspect of his guest's stay, & this makes for a marvellous time in his house. I felt very safe and relaxed as a solo female traveller & will be happy to return there when I return to the Durham area.

Can’t recommend this house enough! Myself and my friends stayed for a weekend and we had so much space! The house is in good condition, the area is peaceful and Carole was a great host. Always very helpful and responsive. We had a great time and would definitely be open to returning 😊

I needed to stay for two days of business in Newcastle and I am grateful that this was a quiet haven for resting in. Her dog Bo is well behaved and a lot of fun. The pomegranate soap resonated with me. Excellent local shops. Nearby Indian restaurant served great freshly cooked food which was welcome for one evening but Nadia is super helpful with her kitchen layout. ... very guest friendly. Nadia is a great host.

Had a great stag do weekend, very much helped by this great property. There was 11 of us and had plenty of space, it’s huge! The karaoke machine is a nice addition. We made good use of the pool table, again was fantastic to have in there for a stag do. There was food available if we wanted it which was a nice touch. We brought 3 cars and parking was easy on the street. Excellent location, just a short drive into the city centre and the street it’s on feels safe. The only minor downside I could say is there being 1 bathroom between that many people, however we were aware of this beforehand and felt it didn’t detract from the experience at all - the price for everything you get is 100% worth it. Would recommend this property for anyone planning a stag / hen do. Thanks so much Richard!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely flat. It was very comfortable, beautifully furnished, and had everything we needed for a relaxing visit. The space was thoughtfully decorated and made us feel right at home. Communication was smooth, and everything was exactly as described. We truly enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again!

I can honestly say this is the loveliest Airbnb I have ever stayed in. I was here for a night with my Mum, and we were both blown away with the beautiful flat, the gorgeous setting and the lovely warm welcome we received from Zoe. Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome! We would both love to come back next year and explore more of the area. The flat was spotless, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Zoe left us lovely food to make breakfast with and the showers were amazing. It was lovely sitting in the garden in yhe evening listening to the birds in such glorious countryside. I can't recommend this lovely accommodation enough! Thanks again Zoe and hope to see you next year :)

The Guest Place was a lovely place to stay, perfectly appointed (with a really comfy bed!), spotlessly clean and in a gorgeous street. Walking distance to amenities and the beach too. Ann was a great host, communicated regularly and made me feel really welcome. I hope to stay again!

Nic and Julie’s place was very homely, very tidy and everything, the kitchen, the bedrooms, was of a high quality. Julie was a very friendly and responsive host, who went above and beyond to accommodate us and help us out with anything we needed. Would’ve given 6 stars if I could have.

Perfect place to stay for Kyren. Easy walk to the site and even easier to get the market place shuttle. A little noisy in the evening but given that it's right in the centre not bad. Easy check in and good instruction on how to find the place.

Stayed here for a friend’s wedding at a local venue, was 10 mins away and easy enough to book a cab to get there. Very clean, friendly staff (lad on his first day did a great job) and in one of the most beautiful areas of the U.K. I’ve ever visited. Portable heater in the room was very very useful as well and easy enough to figure out. Staff even returned an item I left in the room after checking out before I left, which I was really grateful for.

I had an absolutely amazing stay at Rosie’s place! She went above and beyond in every way to make us feel welcome and cared for. Rosie is a truly exceptional host and her hospitality made this the best Airbnb experience I’ve ever had. Highly, highly recommend!

Gary's place was clean, cozy, and everything we could have asked for. There was a great breakfast provided. On top of that Gary was a fantastic host. He provided a flexible check-in, gave out great tips, and let us play with his puppy Oscar.

Heather is a wonderful host and the Coach House is exactly as described. The information provided by Heather is really helpful and Heather responds to queries very quickly. The Coach House is spotlessly clean and has everything you need although the provision of a TV would be a bonus. However, WiFi is available and guests are offered the opportunity to watch TV to on their own devices. The location is excellent with lovely views from the Coach House windows. I would highly recommend the Coach House and I plan to return soon.

Our stay at Dominic and Elaine's home was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms by the kindest and friendliest hosts we’ve ever met. They truly went above and beyond with personal touches that made us feel right at home. Their attention to detail and thoughtfulness did not go unnoticed! The house itself is absolutely stunning—every corner beautifully designed and immaculately kept. We were constantly in awe of the space and comfort. But what truly made our stay memorable was the incredible breakfast they prepared. It was not only delicious but felt like it was made with such care and love. If you’re looking for a stay that feels both luxurious and warm, we cannot recommend Dominic and Elaine's place enough. We left feeling like we had made new friends, and we’ll definitely be back! Thank you, Dominic and Elaine, for an unforgettable experience!
