Vacation rentals in Ty-Mawr

Wow, it’s hard to find the words for this incredible place! Off-grid living at its finest. We absolutely loved the property, very homey and comfortable. Rustic, but great amenities and the information from the lovely hosts was brilliant so we came super prepared and had a very comfortable stay. The sauna was an incredible addition after a day on the lake, we were able to use our paddle boards and enjoyed a peaceful private paddle looking at the local wildlife. Enjoying the sauna after was wonderful. Hearing the sheep and the owls was special, we even saw the owls on the roof when we went out to look at the stars (there are a lot more of them in the countryside!!) The friendly addition of fresh eggs and bread was very thoughtful for our arrival. Spending time away from life’s busy requests and exploring the countryside was something special, we loved lighting the fire at night and enjoyed a bbq tea. Thank you so much, we will be back as it was so special and didn’t feel long enough!!

Tim and Euan are excellent hosts, very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Their replies to any questions were lightning fast! The Old School has a wonderful charm about it and is well situated for access to the surrounding countryside for walks and sightseeing too. Our every need was catered for and the property was beautifully clean and spacious. Dog friendly and log burner in the lounge added to its cosy nature. We will return.

Cosy Cottage is really something special. Michelle made us feel welcome with extras like cake, milk and firewood. The countryside around Blaenau Ffestiniog is super for walking and is very beautiful. You will certainly not be disappointed. Diolch yn fawr

Had a lovely stay! Really cosy cottage and was nice to see sheep going past the window as well as being greeted by the sheep dogs. Will definitely stay again. Fantastic hosts, provided maps for local walks and very accommodating.

had the most incredible stay in this cottage. it's in a beautiful location surrounded by mountains. feels very remote and peaceful. the furniture and bed was comfy and had all the amenities you need for a cottage stay. Lisa was a brilliant and attentive host who greeted us when we arrived and offered to help with anything we might need and provided walk recommendations. it's in a great location and so easy to get to the start of many walks. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Wonderful location with loads of activities and walks to do nearby. The accommodation is beautiful and felt like a home away from home and the host was extremely friendly and helpful and friendly and responded quickly when we had questions.

We had a lovely weekend here. The accommodation is excellent and Fiona and Richard were very friendly hosts. The area is stunning and the vies can be enjoyed from every window. The house has very well equipped, warn and comfortable. We also had treatments in Fiona's treatment room which was so relaxing. We loved everything about our stay. Thank you!

A great place to stay. Helen was friendly and helpful. It feels private with a beautiful view over the fields. Very clean and comfortable. Good location with walks nearby and Snowdon approx 45mins drive away. Friendly chickens and little dog. I’d definitely recommend it.
