We had a most wonderful stay at Laurelle's spot! Her place is so beautifully decorated and has everything you will need to feel right at home! We had a fire and enjoyed relaxing by the lake. The home is spotless and the beds were very comfortable! This will be our go to spot in the future! Thank you Laurelle!

Really enjoyed the beautiful view and cleanliness. Cozy comfy inside and out. Really appreciated being able to have a bonfire one night. Very much appreciated the host's food and excursion recommendations especially Dennis Point cafe for the best seafood chowder in the world. Well outfitted, accommodating and gracious hosts. Excellent communication and super responsive. Would recommend to other friends to stay. Very Relaxing. 5 stars for sure!!

Having morning coffee at the lake is wonderful. This place has everything you need for a restful stay. Michael is very helpful when you need him. Overall a peaceful place to land

Wow, what an amazing place to stay! The Red Door Barn was even better than the pictures. The view was stunning and the house was spotlessly clean and decorated so beautifully. It was a perfect place for my family to spend a relaxing long weekend. The beach was rocky and sandy and was a wonderful place to walk and explore the cove. We even had a seal pop out of the water to say hi to us on our first day! Our boys had fun exploring the nature that surrounds this peaceful setting. My husband and I loved enjoying our coffee on the porch that over looked the cove. The star gazing was incredible and the beds were cozy. We got lobsters from the neighboring lobster pound which was really fun. Nancy was such an accommodating host. She gave us lots of local tips which made our stay extra special. We could not have asked for a better stay or a better host! Thank you so much! We will be back!

My dog, girlfriend, and I stayed at The Petite Retreat for my birthday and had a wonderful time. The area was close to the ferry and there were plenty of things to do in the area. Alana gave great recommendations on places to visit (highly recommend Cape Forchu) and there were some great food spots within a close driving distance. Alana was very reliable when it came to communication and instructions. The only drawback was that there was no running water but there is water access in the tiny home so very small problem with a easy solution. I will definitely be recommending The Petite Retreat to any friends interested in visiting Nova Scotia!!

An Airbnb experience like NO OTHER! The space was homey and welcoming, the hosts a joy, and the experience was amazing. We spent the afternoon sitting by the fire watching the water and the leaves fall. Sauna was an added bonus and breakfast the next day? You’ve got to be kidding me! Delicious! My sister even ran into a flat tire issue and our hosts were able to “pump” her on the way! Exceptional experience - I couldn’t recommend more.

We enjoyed our stay, beautiful location. House was immaculate, everything you need is there. Ocean is so close and beautiful and tranquil. Makes travelling away from home so enjoyable. We will be back. Thank You Derek and Simone, until next time :)
