Beautiful setting and sustainable approach to travel with eco amenities, a glass-bottom kayak, and great snorkel equipment. The views are gorgeous! It is important to set expectations that the second room is its own hut, separated from the home of your French host by a thin shack board wall, and while you will enjoy privacy, there are other families on the island. You must be very explicit in advance about which activities you desire, preferences, food sensitivities. Be certain to bring any specific items (food, reef-friendly sunscreen, mosquito itch cream, rain gear, etc.) you may need with you as it is quite isolated and very difficult to arrange shuttle transportation. It is best to think of this place as its own remote stunning destination and special glamping experience, rather than a place from which you might easily explore Bora Bora. Lovely Ken will bring you to a local lunch café, fantastic snorkel spot, and show you how to weave a hat from local plants–which was wonderful!

Very helpful hosts. Friendly, gave good advice, respected privacy. Unfortunately, we stayed on a Sunday when Nautilus and other activities were not available. I would recommend the place to anyone who will enjoy bathing from the pier and a quiet sitting area with a beautiful view of the sea and mountains

This overwater bungalow was a magical place to stay. House was amazing inside and out. It had all necessary items to feel right at home. Highly recommend and would stay again.

We stayed at Karl and Laure's for our stay on Bora Bora. The bungalow is perfect, with air conditioning, modern, etc. Functional and pleasant kitchen outside. The location is very close to the bay of Vaitape. And what to say about Karl & Laure's kindness. We had little touches every morning (eggs, bananas... from home!). We even had a shell necklace for our departure. Upon arrival Karl came to pick us up and we were able to rent car and electric bike on site at unbeatable prices! In short, we highly recommend!

We have a great stay in this amazing house. The location is very good with great view , right next to main island intercontinental resort. Definitely worth the money.

La ora na! The place is really the perfect base to have a nice time on Bora Bora. Upon arrival we were picked up directly from the pier and taken to the apartment. The apartment looks as described and contains everything you need. The hot tub as well as the terrace overlooking the mountains are really spectacular! A comfortable bed as well as a good shower are also available. Pascaline was always available to us and helped us book a cheap rental car. We recommend the place 100%! This place was a great home away from home. Absolutely stunning views and large enough to spread out and get comfortable. The new car was a real plus as we drove the island a few time. Christophe was right there whenever we needed him. The kitchen was well equipped as we cooked rather than eat out most of the time. We highly recommend recommend this property.

Great stay at Moeata's, the bungalow is located in the best place. The view, the beach, everything is beautiful, peaceful, we had idyllic moments. It's clean, pretty, and modern. Thank you for your welcome to go back and forth to the shuttle, we will be back 🌺
