We had the best stay. Totally worth the price I paid. Very child friendly place to stay. Convienience to travel every where as home at strategic location. Would love to come and stay here again.

The house was very comfortable and welcoming. Host was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the amenities were excellent. The price was affordable and commensurate with the quality of the accommodation. I would highly recommend this house to anyone visiting Kota Kinabalu.

Amazing Family Stay with a Private Pool – Unforgettable Experience! Our family had a fantastic time at Ocean Villa! The private pool was definitely a highlight—our kids spent hours swimming and playing while we relaxed poolside. It made the whole trip feel extra special and private. The villa was spotless, spacious, and perfectly set up for families. We felt right at home with everything we needed, from a well-equipped kitchen to comfortable beds and a safe, peaceful environment. Check-in was super easy, and the host was kind, responsive, and thoughtful throughout our stay. The location was quiet but close enough to restaurants and shops, which made it super convenient for a family trip. This place offered great value and created beautiful memories for us. great place to stay with family..lots of entertainment to do..the owner provide karaoke room, game room, swimming pool..our kids forgot their handphone because they were so busy playing so much real games there..will repeat to stay there again..

It was a great stay. When you walk or travel around KK and then come home, it feels like home. The area has many restaurants and malls, and it feels like it's in the center. It's also easy to access Grab.

I'm very satisfied with the accommodation! Since it was my second trip to Kotakinabalu, I knew where to stay, and as expected, the night market was close, and all the nearby restaurants were within a 10-minute walk, and the nearby mall, Jesselton, was also a 15-minute walk away! After playing in the water, they said they'd warm me up in the taxi with wet clothes, so I took a taxi to go and walked back, but it was a long enough distance to walk! Oh, and the host was kind and let me check out late, so I was able to stay really comfortably even though I had a night flight! There was a comment that said the bathroom smelled, and it did smell a bit when I first checked in! But after staying for 3 nights, it was okay from the next day! I think the smell would have been worse if I hadn't used it! Oh, and another good thing! The balcony is the best! It was nice to sit on the balcony of a passing plane and say hello, and you can see the pool right below, so you can see if there are a lot of people in the pool, and you can go to the pool, and it was nice to sit on the balcony and drink coffee~! It was an accommodation that my parents were satisfied with!

Yo-Yo is a wonderful host, was always ready to help us and help us. The apartment is perfectly located above the shopping center, which has a huge number of shops (including a grocery store), cafes and restaurants. They already wrote about the planes that fly over the house, but they did not bother us at all. On the contrary, it was interesting to see them and take great photos. The apartment itself is spacious and very cozy, we really liked it there. There is a fruit and seafood market within a 15-minute walk from the apartment, which was also convenient.

I had an amazing stay at this place! The location is perfect — just a short walk to Jesselton Point, which made island hopping super convenient. There are great restaurants, convenience stores, and cafes all nearby. The unit was sparkling clean and thoughtfully prepared, with everything from clean towels to complete kitchenware. You can tell the host really cares about the details. The swimming pool was beautiful and very relaxing, with a nice view too! But what stood out the most was the kindness and warmth of the host, Luby. She was incredibly responsive, detailed, and genuinely welcoming. I felt so well taken care of throughout my stay. I’d definitely come back here next time I visit KK. Highly recommended! 💕
