Our apartment is named Truemmelbach. It is located in the Lauterbrunnen valley, just next to the highest waterfalls of the Alps. Lauterbrunnen is part of the jungfrau region. It is surrounded by the famous mountains called Jungfrau, Eiger and Schilthorn. You will stay in the ground floor of a 3 floor Swiss Chalet. From the huge private terrace, facing the south, you can enjoy the most spectacular view to the Swiss mountains and you will hear nothing but cowbells, sheeps & singing birds.

A spacious outdoor terrace features a wooden overhang with comfortable seating and a dining table surrounded by potted plants. Lush greenery and a waterfall are visible in the backdrop, providing a serene view of the valley and rocky cliffs.

My wife and I couldn’t believe what we were seeing as we drove up —absolutely stunning views that set the perfect tone for our stay. The drive to the home alone is worth mentioning, with breathtaking scenery all along the way. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately impressed by how spotless everything was, and the view from inside the home was just as incredible. The space has a modern cabin feel that was cozy and stylish. It’s incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect place to truly disconnect and unwind. Everything was comfortable and well-maintained; we didn’t have any issues during our stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and made it clear they were available if we needed anything, which made us feel even more at ease. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with access to nature, there are some great hiking and biking trails nearby. We highly recommend this place and would definitely come back! Eagle's Nest was the perfect home away from home during our five day trip to the Interlaken region. Cute, comfortable home with out of this world views and an incredibly well stocked kitchen. Dinners with views followed by stunning trail walks going from the front door. Easy access to public transportation, great host. Highly recommended!

Both Regula and her husband, Satcha, were extremely helpful and welcoming. They walked us through the entire property, explaining how everything worked....they even had the pool cleaned spotlessly...they had an outdoor pizza oven and a small garden with herbs for your cooking, and lettuce growing which we were welcome to use. The house had everything that we could have possibly needed, and they checked on us a couple of times to make sure that we had everything that we need. I would highly recommend this home for your traveling and vacation needs!

I came to Switzerland on Airbnb for my honeymoon, and it was in better condition than the 5-star hotel, and the host was so good at managing the house that I didn't leave a soup. I told my husband that I would stay here next time. The location was so good that it was good to move around. The view from the terrace was so touch that I couldn't really talk.

The hosts have thought of everything and more to make your stay comfortable! They were very responsive and went above and beyond to help us with some additional items we needed. The space was clean and peaceful. We cooked every morning and almost every night, and we had everything we needed. The sofa bed was the most comfortable we have ever slept on! As others noted, it is quite a walk (and mostly uphill on the way from town). Definitely recommend calling the taxi when you arrive to make it easier with luggage (and locating the house) - we thought we could do it and it was tough! Recommend their place above and beyond - just make sure you’ve considered that lengthy walk at the beginning and end of day, especially if you have kids and if weather is rainy (as it was most of our stay).
