What a lovely place. The location on Håkøya is very peaceful and yet very close to the center. The view from the apartment to the sea and Tromsø is beautiful. The apartment is well equipped and very spacious. The kitchen has everything you need. The bed is very comfortable. Karstein and Ida Marie are very friendly, extremely helpful and very good hosts. Thanks for the support. I can highly recommend the place.

The house was excellent, and the location was beautiful. We enjoyed viewing the northern lights from the balcony on our last day. A nearby grocery store and convenient access to the main road made our stay very pleasant. The house included everything that was listed and that we needed. The heated bathroom flooring was a wonderful feature. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the house. The children played outside in the snow every day.

We just spent 8 nights in Thomas & Julianne’s fabulous house. Such a great spacious and beautifully appointed home and we were truly blown away by it. Super comfortable beds and bedrooms for a great night’s sleep. It has an extremely well equipped kitchen and high spec bathrooms. Washing machine and dryer was also appreciated. Very quietly located, but within easy reach of Tromso (approx 1 hour) and 2 local grocery shops to pick up essential supplies. We were there for ski touring and were lucky enough to have tons of powder, but also saw the aurora from the house and close by in a darker (away from house/street lights etc) location. I would highly recommend if you enjoy nature and like a slightly more isolated spot to enjoy your holidays. It was a privilege to stay there and we would love to return.

The location is peaceful and perfect for a quiet retreat, yet conveniently accessible. The cable car Fjellheisen, bus stop, and grocery store are all nearby. Jarl and Frøydis are excellent hosts, and the place fully lives up to its glowing reviews. They provide all essential amenities, with the added bonus of micro-spikes for winter, which were incredibly useful. Jarl also shared some great local tips that we really appreciated. Highly recommended!

I cannot say enough about this house and the location, both were amazing!! The house is beautiful and perfect, fully equipped, spacious, with amazing views. Frank was wonderful, took my kids on his snowmobile which was such a highlight for them! When I stupidly plugged in a heating pad that I brought from home and tripped the breaker, it was immediately taken care of. You must rent a car for this property, and you must drive around to explore the area, stunning scenery and views! Northern lights visible from the property were also amazing. If you are lucky enough to be able to rent this house from Frank for your holiday, do it without hesitation!!

The time in this beautiful house was just fantastic. Everything is as described and Ivar is a great host who asks again and again if everything is okay or if something is missing. I would stay at this house again at any time.
