What a place! Everything from the welcome and tips on what to see and do in the surroundings, to the moment I would leave the cabin. A short visit, this time. Because I can definitely imagine going back and enjoying nature and tranquility. Just nice things to say about Christer and Camilla. Perfect host couple!

We have now been in this beautiful place for 11 days and were super excited from the first second! We didn't miss anything, everything was in place. We were super excited about the smart home technology. The fireplace was used diligently by us, be it to make a fire and to grill. It had snowed for days and the steep driveway was completely snowed in. I then asked Patrik for advice on how best to manage this driveway. Without hesitation, he sent us a plow truck! He then cleared the driveway for us perfectly. We highly recommend this place and the hosts! Thanks for that!

Fredrik's home was a joy! The expansive view across Lake Vänern included bird life, small boats and magnificent sunsets. We felt right at home - the kitchen was well equipped, the living area was cozy and the bedrooms were comfortable. Outdoors, we enjoyed it all - the dock and small row boat, the sauna and hot tub. Fredrik's home was private, impeccably clean, uncluttered and filled with natural light. We also discovered many tranquil, easy trails in the surrounding area that took us to other points along the lake. Some of the trails were even within walking distance of Fredrik's home. Groceries, local restaurants and a few cafés were only 15-30 minutes away by car. Coming from Annapolis, Maryland in the USA, some of the hikers we met on the trails asked why were in this part of Sweden. Our answer was easy - it's a magical area and we loved staying in Fredrik's place!

We had a very cozy autumn weekend at the house. Lovely with the cozy cottage and being able to burn in the wood stove. The house really meets expectations and is in good condition. The closeness to the lake and the opportunity to fish we really appreciated.

We had an exceptional experience staying with Mario's place, who is a super host! He was quick to respond and very helpful throughout our stay. We spent 1 night and 2 days in the camper, and it was amazing. The view from the camper is really good, providing a beautiful backdrop for our stay. Mario provided full instructions about the camper and was always available if we needed anything. We enjoyed a BBQ on the upper deck, which offered an incredible view. He even allowed us an early check-in, making our arrival smooth and convenient. The jacuzzi was a nice touch and very relaxing. It’s a great place for families too. My daughter loved playing on the trampoline and in the separate kids' playhouse. She had a fantastic time! Overall, our experience was exceptional. We are definitely coming again!

Second New Year here, and we got snow again. Really tranquil place and beautiful. Nice trails to walk.

Ola's place was lovely for a 2-night getaway for our family of 4. We found it helpful with instructions to "follow the signs" due to some local roadworks. The holiday house is superbly equipped with basic cooking essentials (oil, salt, pepper...), a sauna, 2 well sized bedrooms. The pictures tell the story. Ola provided great instructions for use of everything including for cleaning the house on our final day. A highlight for me would be the view, sunset and sunrises were beautiful. The dining table is placed centrally with large windows encapsulating the view. This would be a charming spot to come back to in summer.

Lovely cabin near the sea. We enjoyed the views, the sauna and jacuzzi. This place is best enjoyed with two persons maximum. You can make some nice day trips in the surroundings. We liked to hike up the hill next to the cabin to have a full view of the surroundings and sea.

We were up and running so home was perfect as ours was 150 meters from the cabin we used the cabin for shared dining and some coziness in the evening I have asked Johan about a lot of things and have gotten answers in for a few minutes each he is a great host Only downside was that doors should be left open during food lichen due to smoke detector
