The Magnolia on Main hosted by Swell Stay

JulieRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had a fantastic stay! The home is absolutely stunning—beautifully decorated with so many thoughtful touches that made it feel extra special. The beds were super comfortable, and having 3 full bathrooms made it easy for the 9 of us to get up and out in the mornings. The hosts were the best—great communicators and very responsive. The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of Madison. It was the perfect getaway to relax, sip some wine, shop, and make amazing memories with the girls. Highly recommend!

Oh, nothing about the property was bad. I really appreciated the early check-in, but I was just unclear on what spots were available or if they were reserved. So I took a chance and I hope I did not cross any lines. The river was beautiful, the spots were well-maintained, I only wish they had electric at the place that I chose. It did have outlets but no electric hook ups. All in all a great stay and I will come back just to relax.

This was our third time staying at this beautiful historical, peaceful home. Great place to walk or bike and sit on the porch and watch the barges go by.

The historic brick building, featuring classic architectural details, stands prominently in downtown Madison. Large windows line the second and third floors, while a welcoming storefront is visible at street level. The facade showcases a vibrant combination of brick and trim, reflecting the charm of the area.

We had never been to Madison, IN and didnt really know what to expect. Colins place was a great introduction to the town. Nicely renovated, old building that had easy access and right on main st. We rented a golf carts and cruised the restaurants, historic buildings and local Thomas winery. Colin provided us great information, clean and comfortable space to get to know the town. We will be coming back in the future and thank you Colin providing us a great place to stay.

Little Lamb Retreat at the river

RhondaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
This was the ideal place for a relaxing few days we needed. Couches and beds were very comfortable, the view from the porch, beautiful, and of course as others have mentioned, great hot tub! The whole place was very clean.
The interior of the tiny home features a wooden ceiling with exposed beams, illuminated by recessed lighting. Two bar stools are positioned at a kitchen counter, while a couch is placed nearby. A wall-mounted TV and light-colored walls enhance the cozy atmosphere.

Nice little place sitting on the Ohio River. Local Neighbors were very friendly. Had a nice fire and view. Easy access to Madison (5 minute drive to most restaurants) several grocery stores in area if your cooking in. House is a tiny house so be aware. Hot shower Kitchen had everything needed to make meals. Bring firewood Or scavenge driftwood. Google Maps had trouble with the address but got us close enough to find it visually.

EST 1809 Suite 102 at The Chandler Hotel

Madison was a Very nice find on our way to Chicago. A little Wilmington,NC ( architecture) and a little Greenville SC ( community commitment ). Madison is really cool. Matt has put so much into his hotel. He has made huge commitment that I am sure is not making him rich but adds a great deal to the downtown area. It was spotless, easy to get into, and had great mix of luxury and antique. I highly recommend this spot.
