“Slow Life” Cottage and Hot Tub in idyllic village

ElaineRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
One night is not enough!! The hot tub was the highlight of this place as it felt super relaxing and calming after our super long drive to cornwall. We visited cornwall’s beaches and Shaun’s place was so comfortable and cozy that we only wish we could stay for a bit longer or at least be able to check-in earlier for a more relaxing experience. The bathroom was squeaky clean, hygienic and really cute and made the girls feel comfortable as home. The cottage had almost all amenities needed for the stay. It was one of the most affordable places in Cornwall and would definitely return!

Stunning views, stillness, sumptuous tubs - relax!

DaniRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Clare’s place is beautiful, and surrounded by acres of fields. No one on top of you, just peace and quiet. The bungalow is clean and tidy and Clare had baked some gorgeous cakes and left lots of goodies in the fridge for us. It was great having a dishwasher too. Highly recommended. And 100% pre book restaurants as they get busy.

Unique, light and beautifully cosy cottage

MattRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lovely cottage in a stunning location. Excellent hosting, nice welcome treat (thanks!). The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay, we catered in and didn't eat out at all. The lounge is comfortable but sadly the weather was far too warm to justify lighting the log burner! Wifi was great, we streamed a film one evening without issue. The location is incredible, loads of walks directly from the door, including up to castle ruins just at the top of the hill. To be able to stomp up the hill to the prehistoric stones and watch the sun set over the sea, then stroll back down at dusk to sit in the hot tub and watch the stars come out, was truly magical.

The Hobbit Hole Dogs Welcome! Fast WiFi. Hot Tub

AidanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The Hobbit Hole is a perfect little getaway spot - close enough to Penzance for easy walk/bus/drive in and out but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. It’s private, well equipped and comfortable. The Vince and Beckie are easy to communicate with and straightforward. Highly recommended!

Private Cottage with hot tub - Perranporth

PhyllidaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Bay Tree Cottage is absolutely lovely. It is furnished and decorated to a very high standard and everything is exactly as described. The hot tub and outdoor shower are fantastic, even the cold bucket shower was fun. I would recommend to anyone to come and stay there, you will NOT be disappointed The sounding countryside has plenty of walks and the beach is only a 10 min walk away. There were lots of places to eat if you don't want to cook yourself but the cottage does have all of the facilities you need to cook up a storm . I will be back, I loved the peace and quiet of the area dn the sunsets from the beach are to die for. Thank you Claire for letting us stay at your place

Cosy Cornish Cottage with Secret Garden & Hot Tub

CastleRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We loved our stay at bumblebee cottage. It was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Loved the attention to detail and was very thankful for the welcome pack. The hot tub is private and a great size for relaxing. Tracy our host was very communicative, friendly and at hand for any questions. We will definitely be returning. Our children loved it that much they asked if we could move in.

For someone who enjoys nature, i got the opportunity to do a bbq, area for my little dog to play. Outdoor cooking area, as if you are camping. Cosy space for 2 and the dog. Coastal hiking area only 10minutes walk away. 20minutes walk from accom to the village. Kate and Simon are very helpful, upon arrival we received some great complimentary items and there are books to read, of course leave them where you found them please. Arty miners cottage, wild tin coast of Botallack

NelsonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a fantastic stay at Sophia’s Place. It was wonderfully decorated and well equipped. This is how Airbnbs should be. We especially enjoyed the travel tips including the Map in the Kitchen, this really elevated our stay because of the fantastic recommendations. Parking could be difficult if you have a vehicle over 5m but is manageable. The kids also had a thrill with the piano in the living room and great game selection. Hope we didn’t annoyance neighbours too much ;) Highly recommend!

Niver Dew Cottage, Pendeen

GaryRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely two night stay at Niver Dew Cottage in Pendeen. The property was cosy but had everything you could want, was clean & had everything you could need for a stay as well as beautiful sunset views & within a very short walk of an excellent local pub. Great for walkers on the south west coastal path & very close to bud stops. Emily was friendly, helpful, & professional from the initial booking until we left. Highly recommended for anyone meeting stay in the area.

The Old Dairy, “a unique, romantic retreat”

JamesRating, 5 stars4 days ago
An absolutely beautiful cottage in an idyllic location. The cottage was well appointed and had everything we needed. A cosy bedroom with a clever hidden kitchen. The bathroom was much larger than we expected and the shower was excellent. The star of the show is undoubtedly the outside space - the garden is a private and peaceful area, well laid out and adorned with pretty wildflowers. The outside copper bath is large and luxurious, a relaxing spot to watch the sunset (and cows!). We’d definitely recommend the cottage to anyone. Beautiful inside and out.

Cottage close to Coast Path and Portheras Cove

SonjaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
If I could give 10 stars, I would. Mary was such a gracious and wonderfully charming host that I would have loved to spend more time at her cottage. During my stay, Mary showed me the surrounding area, including a beautiful garden and her field, and Mary & her partner Charles also gave me a lift to a pub for dinner. Mary & Charles are both very knowledgable and I enjoyed learning about the history and geology of Cornwall from them!

Rural Retreat outside Mawgan Porth

CatherineRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved our stay at the Little Forge. Sue was a superb host and gave us loads of great recommendations. We really appreciated the welcome pack of milk, bread, eggs etc as it meant we could have a lovely lazy morning after our first night. The annexe was exactly as described, extremely well appointed with everything we could need for our week long stay with our dog, including dishwasher and washing machine soaps, good selection of utensils and salt/pepper/oil. The courtyard garden is delightful suntrap and overall the location could not be more peaceful. We’d love to come back again.

Home of the Mousehole Cat

AlisonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a lovely 4 days stay at this cottage. The cottage is really well equipped and in a wonderful location in beautiful Mousehole. We enjoyed using the bench overlooking the harbour just outside the house and the lovely views from many windows. The beds were comfy and the lounge is a really homely place to relax. There were some lovely touches like plentiful handwash and toletries, and of course a delicious cream tea! We enjoyed eating at 2 fore street - the fish was absolutely excellent and also loved the various galleries and gift shops. We were with my father in law who has very limited mobility and he managed the short walks around to the deli and so on. Parking is pretty easy- we couldn’t get very close to the house with the car as other parked cars were blocking kiegwin street but it was close enough to unload and parking only £5 for 24 hours at the harbour and we could always get a space. We had a really memorable boat trip out into mounts bay on the Cormorant with Neil.

15 minutes stroll to Porth Nanven Beach

LuAnnRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Our stay at Tremellion was everything we hoped for, with a well-equipped cottage, walkable access to shops & restaurants, and a cozy fire in the evening after long walks on the coastal path. Fiona was very helpful when travel delays disrupted our plans to arrive in the village, arranging a taxi to meet us in Penzance. We enjoyed sitting in the sunny garden with a glass of wine and were able to prepare meals easily with a well-stocked kitchen. We could tell Fiona had thought of everything!

Cosy Smithy in the countryside

VascoRating, 5 stars3 days ago
I had the pleasure of staying with Kasie and her wonderful family during my birthday week, and it truly felt like a home away from home. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with such warmth and kindness — their hospitality was exceptional. Every detail was thoughtful, and the atmosphere was relaxed, friendly, and full of heart. Thank you so much for making my stay so memorable. It was a joy to spend time in such a lovely space with such genuinely kind people. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay that feels both special and comfortable!

Praze Barn on the Lizard Peninsula, Cornwall

AlexRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We cherished every moment spent at Praze Barn. It’s a delightful place for a secluded break, cosy but not too small (we are both 6 ft + and found it roomy enough) and well kept. Everything works, the decor is local and tasteful, and the bed is comfy. A quiet pebble beach is just a ten-minute walk downhill, and the coastal path in either direction takes you through seemingly endlessly beautiful coastline. Praze Barn also has maps and local guide books aplenty. The nearest pub is in Cadgwith, a 20-30 minute walk, but we’d recommend taking torches and walking - the coastal path is well trodden and the roads (more direct) are beautiful and quiet with traffic. Both Cadgwith and Lizard are great for fresh seafood. Cadgwith has a cute little shack that sells crab meat, and a nice rocky outcrop to eat it on. Last but not least - Frances’s homemade brownies were delicious and a nice treat to welcome us after a long drive from London. We’ll be back!

Traditional Fisherman Cottage Close To Harbour

CamRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Absolutely perfect little cottage in a great location. Parking is easy and cheap in the harbour car park. Beds were incredibly comfy. The kids loved the books on the Mousehole Mice - nice little touch. Great little courtyard for morning coffee and breakfast in the sun. Katy has done a beautiful job with this old cottage. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Friendly and helpful host. Will recommend to everyone I know!

The Loft House - a beautiful 3 storey cottage

ErikRating, 5 stars1 month ago
"The Loft House" was our first AirBNB and directly a perfect hit. The very old stone house is stylishly restored and equipped. Everything you need for the time there is available and much more. Neil gives you very detailed and helpful information. He obviously values his guests, which one can see in his communication. The location is very suitable for hikes and excursions by bus or car. A clear recommendation for staying in the region. However, you have to take into account that the house is not suitable if you are not well on stairs.
