Monthly Rentals in Toyota District, Osakikamijima

Really nice traditionnal house close to Okunoshima island (5min walking from the ferry and train station). The host is really nice and responsive. The house is above a delicious italian-japanese fusion restaurant. The chief was really nice and helful.

Great place to stay overnight during a biking trip or hike and super friendly host. Would definitely stay again!

Yoshi’s place is spacious and comfortable, if a little dark in the evening. The deck gives a decent view over the Inland Sea, and is a good place for drying clothes. Yoshi himself is an atypical AirBnB host, living on site but keeping himself a discreet presence in the background. He’s very Zen, as indeed is the village (barring the PA announcements that break up the day, starting at 5am) - and the island of Omishima as a whole. If you need anything, just ask, and he will be happy to oblige. We greatly enjoyed our 6-day stay chez Yoshi. Oh, and I nearly forgot the projection screen, which is a great plus, if you can find your favourite film on YT or whatever else you can access.

Recommended for a relaxing family trip to enjoy the Seto Inland Sea ~ Perfect for water play, SUP, fishing, etc. The interaction with Hiroshi was very smooth and the service was very polite. I stayed for 5 nights, and it had everything I needed, and there were plenty of tools to cook a full meal. The shower outside that was in the sea, the barbecue on the wooden deck, and the relaxation space were also great. We used the rental cycle to go around the island and enjoyed swimming at the nearby sandy beach. Hiroshi introduced me to a local person, and he even planned a half-day boat fishing tour. Thanks to you, we had a great summer vacation. Thank you!
