Villa vacation rentals in Torre dell'Orso

Angelo and Anna Maria are exceptional hosts, who want to share their beautiful region and local products. The garden is very nice with different terraces (shade and sun all day). We had the pleasure of being able to shower outside with the rays of the sun. The pool attracts mosquitoes, but also the birds that come to catch them at the end of the day.

It was an amazing stay

This place was even more beautiful than the photos. Gorgeous views everywhere you looked. Sunrises were magical. Ada and her husband were so very kind and helpful with any questions we had. This place is a perfect oasis for a group gathering. You wouldn’t need to leave the property if you didn’t want to. So much to see and do right on site including pool and outdoor pizza oven. Several little spots to eat or have a drink with sea view within minutes. Santa Maria Di Leuca is only 15 minutes away with many terrific restaurants and touring options!

Nieves is a truly lovely host who went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful. Her recommendations were invaluable and it was a genuine pleasure to meet her and her family. The house is beautiful with plenty of space, comfy bedrooms and everything you could possibly need. The large open terraces and pool surrounding the house make it a great place for socialising as a large group whilst enjoying the peace of its spectacular surroundings. It is easy to access and nearby the historic city of Lecce with all it has to offer including stunning baroque architecture and some great bars and restaurants. We will be back! Dorothy and Gabriele's welcome was friendly. Dorothy was always available to answer our questions quickly. The place really has something special with its vaulted Lecce stone rooms that we really enjoyed. The place was clean and in good condition. Only downsides: - the 3 bedrooms are quite far from each other (1 at the entrance but outside, 1 at the back of the accommodation and 1 upstairs). Keep in mind with small children who are a little afraid of being away at night; - the accommodation is just on the edge of the street and is therefore a little noisy for those occupying the bedroom of the entrance. But otherwise everything was perfect. Thank you very much

The stay was very nice, we had a great time. The perfect place to unwind in silence, the cottage provides privacy. Everything clean, lots of amenities. Very nice terrace and great pool. Close to the beach (about 15 min on foot). Highly recommended.

Lucia's house is tastefully furnished and very beautiful with quality amenities the sheltered terrace in front is very pleasant as well as the beautiful courtyard at the back out of sight and in the quiet sun a pure happiness

Had a great stay! The place was exactly as described – tastefully decorated and equipped with everything you need. The location was perfect: quiet, but still well connected. I particularly liked the outdoor area with pool. Bea was super friendly, helpful and always available. I'd come back anytime – absolutely recommended!

We were looking for a small town in Italy. We found just that. Mostly locals. Giurdignano is about 10 to 15 minutes by car to Otranto. The village itself is very quaint, with one sports bar, 2 or 3 restaurant/pizzerias/a small grocery store, a little market, and a bakery. Everyone was very nice. The house is very well stocked. We enjoyed our stay very much, even though the weather didn't cooperate very much. To visit other cities, you need a car, or a driver. Communication was great between the owner, myself, and the management staff. I would return.

Andrea is a fabulous host and could not do more to help us settle in and be looked after. He was always available and very accommodating. The property is a gem if you like peaceful, quiet places with a wonderful view. Two couples shared a bathroom without any problem, but generally it has a nice layout, with lots of space. We had one rainy day but we were still just happy to admire the view and relax, and it was a great surprise one evening to be able to see the mountains on the other side of the Gulf of Taranto. The beach at Lido Malibu is Caribbean and almost empty when we were there late May, but probably busy later judging by the number of available deck chairs. Gallipoli (30 mins) is a great trip to do as is Lecce a bit further, but generally we were happy to stay at the Villa by the superb pristine pool or go down to the beach. As we were self catering the house is well equipped, with lots of linen and towels, comfortable and nicely decorated. Definitely recommended.

Highly recommended.. The hosts are very nice and willing to help with any issue. The villa is great, clean, tidy and we will definitely be back.

An absolutely wonderful villa with a great view to the east and sunrise. Lots of space to sit and lounge and eat and spend time together with family and friends. A bit of a drive to the beach, but all very doable. Definitely in the return to list. Last but not least - Fausto is fab!

We had a wonderful time. Lots of space in the villa for two families and the teenagers loved having their own bathrooms! Very helpful in every way, we had a lovely dinner in the recommended restaurant in the village. We would definitely return!

I have to say that we found a courtesy,kindness ,availability from Alessandro and Mauro , accellent hosts;never happened to find people like this, they made us feel like family, they satisfied our every request with a grace and politeness that is not from everyone , they pampered us with your welcome overtime that we really appreciated... we can only say that Alessandro is Mauro gave us care and the true warmth of the South...simply wonderful people. ..Thank you for Cuore and the whole Company of the Pets

Tommaso is very welcoming and very attentive to his guests. the accommodation matches the description, quiet place close to the sea and within a reasonable distance of Otranto, Gallipoli, Lecce, nice visits in the area and Santa Maria di leuca. recommended for a cocooning stay and visits to the lower part of the Puglia region.

We had a lovely stay. A relaxing place, lovely pool and outdoor space, close to Tricase with a good choice of restaurants.

Honestly one of the best places I have stayed. Nine of us spent over a week there and everyone loved it. Literally not a bad word to say about the place. The villa, pool etc were all as/better than described, especially the pool. We would definitely visit again. Pillows, air con, kitchen, outdoor seating, views etc were all great. The ‘neighbours’ were lovely, don’t speak much English but greeted us on arrival and made sure everything was all ok the whole time. Antonio is a true gentleman, thanks again! Couple tips - local town Martano has a lovely ‘caffe Stella’ with great cakes etc. Torre Sant’Andrea is rocky but amazing swimming under the arch etc. La Cala dell’Acquaviva is small but beautiful, swimming out between the cliff faces. I could go on but in summary, if you want a peaceful, well equipped, beautiful place to stay, away from the bigger more touristy towns but within driving distance of everything, book it up!

Fantastic place as expected in the photos and description on the site. We spent four days in contact with nature using fruits, vegetables, and eggs inside the estate. Lisa and her partner were very kind and assisted us with every request. We'll be back for sure ✨

We had a fantastic stay at Fabrizio's. He is a great host, We stayed in this house for the second time and felt totally comfortable. It's such a beautiful property and has everything you need. We will be back soon.

A magical place where nature is the star! Despite the incredible beauty of the house, with attention to every single detail, what takes your breath away are the garden and the priceless view. I hope to return soon to this place where time seems to flow at a calmer pace. Suitable for enjoying every single moment in this paradise.
