“A fun and lovely place to stay. Warren and Thelma were great hosts. They communicated quickly and had the fire going for us on our arrival so it was nice and cozy. They also restocked the wood supply for us for our second night, which was much appreciated. It was a very comfortable stay and a great experience. Would happily stay again.”

“Amazing stay! It was an beautiful spot and Diane and Hamish are lovely and very friendly. They shared information about the area and took us on a tour of the property but we also had full privacy when in our area. They allowed us to check in a little early as they didn’t have other guests and had the fire going when we arrived. Very cozy and warm, and the spa was perfect after a day of hikes and exploring the area. Highly recommend!”
Downstairs bedroom looking north over farmland. Bedroom has a queen sized bed and one set of bunks. Right next door to your bathroom and separate toilet. We keep some books and clothes in the wardrobe but there's plenty of room for guests clothes in the wardrobe and separate chest of drawers. Our home is set on 2 hectares which we are developing into a semi-self-sustainable place of work and peace.
“Tim and Doreen were very welcoming hosts and have a beautiful home, in a stunning location. We loved the grounds, cows, ducks and ducklings. They very kindly gave us some of their delicious fresh plums from their garden and their homemade muesli was very yummy. The room itself was very comfy and had everything we needed, the bathroom was very nice and clean. We also had full access to the kitchen so we could cook some meals there. Their rescue dog Jill was also lovely and very quiet. Perfect place to get away from the cities and to do tongariro. They were also very helpful with local tips and suggestions for the rest of our trip around NZ.”
