Airy, Serene Coach House in Wellington

The accommodation is well suited to large families or groups of friends with an open plan living space that can accomodate everyone together while preparing meals or just relaxing. Our reviews show we offer a high standard of amenities and have just added an ice making machine for this very hot summer period. There is plenty of garden space to use during the day or a night including table seating with sun umbrella, a coal BBQ, and enough space to kick a ball about and excercise a dog. We are in Wellington Town Centre (just a 5 minute walk from the High Street) and is found up a discreet driveway in an extremely private and tucked away location. The owners house uses the same driveway entrance and but have their own garden. We are usefully on hand when you realise you have forgotten a key shopping ingredient...... Our accommodation is proving especially popular with guests visiting relatives in the local area, those attending events/weddings (Wellington, Oake, Taunton, Tiverton, Buckland St Mary) and short term stays for business travellers needing fast access to the M5 (which is just a 7 minute drive). The Coach House and Dairy Barn accommodation is in a separate building to the owners house and also contains to the end of the building an additonal letting studio apartment - see End Barn listing which sleeps 2 and can increase the overall sleeping space to 8. There is a dedicated guest garden for relaxing / seating with use of a BBQ. We are often at home and available in person or via the phone whenever visitors need us. We do like to meet those sharing our space but respect the fact that late arrivals and short stay visitors want to get on with checking in and checking the local area out. If we happen to be away during your stay, we remain contactable and there is always a responsible adult present overnight to look after our many pets. If tips on what's on and where to go are required we have them! The house is set in the small town of Wellington, with a range of charming shops and pubs within walking distance. There’s a nearby Art Deco style cinema that screens movies, as well as a leisure centre, a tennis club, and supermarkets. Unless you have excessive use (!) we aim to supply you with adequate toilet paper, hand wash, air freshner, daily shower spray, dishwasher tabs, dishwasher rinse aid, washing up liquid, kitchen spray, jaycloth, foil, and salt and pepper. We leave milk in the fridge along with a small goodie basket that has instant coffee and tea bags along with biscuits so you can alway stop for a brew before you head to our local shops for a fuller larder stock up (Waitrose, ASDA, Co-op and a number of independant butchers, delis). When we have them we will leave eggs from either our chickens or ducks. Your fee includes an end of stay clean by a professional cleaner ie not me, therefore you don't need to strip bedding or make the place clean enough for the next guests arrival. We would just really appreciate if you remember to put on the dishwasher for any last dishes when you leave and take unused food with you or pop it in the various bins.
