Amazing historical house. It's not for everyone but it's fascinating to see how people would've lived back then! Host was amazing as well. Left way more snacks and drinks than I could finish, and offered lots of great advice for the area, and always checking up on me to ensure I am comfortable!

Great place to stay in Hakone, a great opportunity to stay on tatami mattresses and a beautiful space.

Michael has a wonderful house, it is very beautiful and you can find a lot of cute details in the house. Michael is also a great host, very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

A beautiful house with a stunning view of Fuji-san. 10 mins walk to Oshino Hakkai. As long as you’re okay with using a public onsen for washing, this place is great

Tetsuya san was proactive and had a great place, walkable near sea side. property is well equipped. Would recommend disposable brush sets for guests in future.

Mitsuko was a great host and responded quickly to our questions. My only caution is that the stairs up to the apartment are steep and my friend, who has a bad knee, had to be cautious on them. Otherwise the apartment was fantastic and met our expectations. Kitchen had everything we needed. The Italian restaurant underneath was also a nice surprise and would definitely recommend it. :) The apartment was 2 stops away from Shinjuku station so easy to get around using the metro or walking. Would definitely stay there again!

Really enjoyed my stay. Very central location. Just 10 min walk to the heart of Shinjuku area and 15-20min by train to Shibuya. Clean space easy to check in. And free luggage storage which was amazing since my flight back home was at 7pm and check out was at 11am. Staff at the hotel are very friendly and very accommodating. They also speak fluent y English so it was easy to communicate with them.

Exactly as advertised and was a great host. Clear and fast responses on any and all questions. The appartment has great connections to the rest of Tokyo.

A very nice, comfortable, comfortable, clean and organized place. The hostess left us welcome water and peanut and those details always add up. We were even called by a taxi to take our bags to the station which was very helpful. I really recommend this place if you come to Japan! I would definitely go back! ☺️

The house was in a very convenient location! There is a bus that’s about a 3 mins walk and it took us to all the places we had to go, or to the subway that would take us to our location. It’s also very close to Tokyo Skytree so we went there a couple of times on our trip. It looks exactly like the picture, but I will say the bathroom was a bit smaller than we expected. It wasn’t bad and we were able to make it work. The bed was also very springy, so everytime we moved around we could hear the springs. Those were the only downsides but we enjoyed everything else. Miki is so kind and made sure that we had everything we needed for the trip! She was always very fast with responding and when we needed anything she was there to help. Her instructions to check in and check out were both very clear so we didn’t have any trouble.

This place was right in the action, which is what I wanted from this experience. very happy 😁

Great with two toilets, two showers (same bathroom) and a washer/dryer, kitchen and access to the entire floor & upstairs playroom and balcony. The tatami mats in the rooms are clean, nicely set up linens with extras. Those of us over 40 had a hard time sleeping on the thinner tatami mats. I doubled up and was so tired every night that I never had a problem falling asleep. But just know that’s what you’re walking into. We highly enjoyed our stay and thought the location safe and convenient. The host was lovely to communicate with. We had no problems coming and going from the apartment.

We had an amazing stay at this accommodation in Japan! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our host, which made us feel at home right away. The location was excellent — both the train station and a supermarket were very close, making it easy to get around and pick up anything we needed. What made our stay even more special was that the host was present and always available to answer our questions and give us helpful tips. Her kindness and attentiveness really made a difference. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

We had the best time staying at Tsudoi’s place for 3 nights. Tsudoi was very helpful and responsive. The house was spacious and clean. We’d come back again for sure!

Thank you for the other day! The lodge had everything we needed and there was no inconvenience at all. They also changed towels for consecutive nights. The atmosphere of the lodge was very good, and I wanted to live in a house like this. What was great was the view from the windows of each room. The view of fresh green trees from every window was healed. There were sunflower seeds in the feeding facility, but the children were happy to see the birds that came to eat. I just want to thank you for doing the bonfire as much as you like... The host is quick to respond by sending a message, and the response is very calm and reassuring. Thank you for a wonderful memory.

It was a very nice facility.

We all really enjoyed our time here. We loved the house and it was bigger than expected. A few minutes walk away are fantastic views of Mount Fuji (when it’s not cloudy!). We used the local Onsen and spa facilities which were 10mins walk away, they do great food there too, which was very handy after arriving after long journey to get there (amazing views of Mount Fuji from the restaurant). We used the projector to watch some films, and played some records which was an added bonus.

This spot is very peaceful and the beach nearby is super lovely, we had a car with us while staying so it was easier to get around. We loved spending time in the house it was a very comfortable stay!

The view was very good, the room was clean, and above all, it was great to be able to bathe in the hot spring in the wooden bath!

I stayed with my family (3+ people🐶) during the Golden Week holiday.They handled everything smoothly and politely from the time of booking, and I had a comfortable stay even though I had some questions. I added the sauna, BBQ, pizza oven, and fire pit as options, and they were all great!I recommend the sauna in particular.The sauna smells great with aroma oils, and it's great to take a break while looking at nature on the bench! At my house, you can BBQ as much as you want.My father was either grilling outside or sunbathing on the bench all the time lol The room was also fully equipped, and I had a session with the guitar I brought and the piano that was there!(The houses were spaced out, so I was able to play without worrying too much during the day *\(^o^)/*) From the morning, I could hear the babbling of the river and the chirping of birds, and it was the best detox from the hustle and bustle of the city. Thank you very much. P.S. By the way, there are also a roadside station and a Create within walking distance, which was convenient when I forgot to buy something.The roadside station also sells desserts and they were delicious (I ate them at the pudding garden at dusk) I want you to use it again!
