Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Tōkai Region

Lovely stay in a beautiful area. The staff were all very helpful, including pick up and drop off to bus terminal. We had everything we needed and buses to the slopes were walking distance, although car hire would be even more convenient, especially if travelling with kids. Overall would recommend to any families or small groups travelling to Hakuba.

Very comfortable. Good ventilation with windows with screens. Excellent bath. Good cooking facilities. Short walk from train station and to beach. A delightful apartment with a lofted sleeping room. Clean and cozy. Would return without hesitation.

We had a comfortable stay here. It was a little cold but the bathtub was nice. It has a great yard and a complete kitchen. Overall we enjoyed our stay here and the host was polite.

ワンちゃんとゆっくり過ごせました。 伊豆高原はドッグフレンドリーなお宿やお店が多いのですが、 二人以上でないとかなり割高になるので、この価格で宿泊できよかったです。 インテリアもおしゃれですし、掃除も行き届いており快適な環境でした。 ワンちゃんのフードボウルや、シートなど用意されていました。 調理器具も一通りあったので、当日中に調理したかったものも問題なく調理できました。 コーヒーも美味しくいただきました。

Yuko's place was one of the best places we have stayed in Japan. First time having mattresses that won't make your back sore! The light blocking blinds were also a plus. The place was comfortable, clean and very cozy. We would love to stay again in the future.

Michael非常温暖有趣，他的房屋干净整洁，用心装点。其实房屋的位置去附近的城崎海岸、大室山⛰️、仙人掌公园都不远。仔细看Michael提供的guide book，里面有很多的购物、餐饮和旅游建议～伊豆是个安静的海边小镇，天气好时能清楚的在阳台看到蔚蓝的大海，记得沿着房子周围散散步，你会看到邻居的花园正盛开美丽的花朵，还有时不时会串出的小松鼠🐿️和鸟儿～是个放松和享受自然的好地方～祝大家开心❤️🌸

とても居心地の良い空間でした。広々して清潔でした。周辺の環境もよく、閑静で景色も良かったです。夜景も綺麗でした。また利用したいです。

Very flexible on check out, a lot of things to do near by, staff was awesome, they treat you like family, highly recommended!!

We had a great stay, within a few minutes walk you are on the beach. We could hear the ocean from the house. Everything in the house was clean and the kitchen was very well equipped to make us feel at home. We appreciated the tea and coffee too! We can't wait to come back in summer.

とても親切な方で色々と教えてくれました。また施設自体もとても良く、清潔感がありました。サウナにも入ることが出来て、好きな時間に自由に使用出来る点がとても良かったです。調理器具などもたくさん置いてあったためその点も良かったです。あと時期にもよるとは思いますが、朝にたけのこを採ることが出来て良い思い出になりました。

サウナ、水風呂、天然温泉はいずれも気持ちよく利用できました！施設の説明もわかりやすくしていただき、快適に宿泊することができました。

Absolutely loved our stay at Olga’s place in Oceanic Villa Minami! The location is stunning, and easy access to the beach. Olga was an exceptional host, providing thoughtful touches and local recommendations that enhanced my experience. The villa itself was beautifully decorated, clean, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy the ultimate coastal getaway!

This was a wonderful place! It was pristine and had every amenity you could need. It was also centrally located by car-- very close to Karuizawa Prince Hotel Ski Resort. The host was very responsive and kind to our questions, even though there was a sign that answered one of our questions😅. Our dogs loved the open space, too. Our only regret is not staying there longer!

This was a lovely stay for 4 of us! The accomodation was exactly what was listed, the host was very responsive, and we absolutely loved the koi pond garden in the back! Although it was difficult exploring the area without a car and relying on walking and public transport, it was in a quiet and relaxing neighborhood which we enjoyed and would recommend if you're wanting to escape the hustle of the big cities while visiting Japan.

This place is beautiful, peaceful and close to nature. Miyuki is easy to communicate with and responsive. The place is super nice, very clean and neat. The breakfast is simple yet very very homey and delicious. We wish we stayed much longer here. Locationwise is near the Gojo city so plenty of big supermarket, restaurants, etc. Recommended to drive so can explore this area better. We live the peaceful morning walk around the house. Thank you sooo much, Miyuki! Hope will be back here again in the future.

I wish I could give this property more than 5 stars! 
In my 10 years as an Airbnb user, Yuri is by far the best host we’ve had. She is communicative, respectful of privacy, and generous. The house is exceptionally clean (even by Japanese standards), well-stocked, and spacious enough for our party of four. The photos simply don’t do this property justice. It is professionally managed by a team that clearly cares about their clients. We will definitely return! (As a side note: We’ve recently started staying in hotels more often due to the inconsistent quality and cleanliness of many of the Airbnbs. However, properties like this one and hosts like Yuri truly embody the spirit of Airbnb.)

We loved our stay at Someno House; it was very quiet, cozy, and located in a great neighbourhood. The staff was very friendly, and gave great recommendations for restaurants in the area. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Kyoto.
